Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra welcome baby girl

Actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The child was born on the evening of July 15 at Reliance Hospital in Mumbai through a normal delivery, according to reports.

The couple, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in Rajasthan in February 2023, had announced their pregnancy earlier this year with a photo on social media. The image featured their hands cradling a pair of baby socks, captioned, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon.”

Their relationship blossomed after starring together in Shershaah, where Sidharth portrayed the late Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara played his partner, Dimple Cheema. Their on-screen chemistry gave way to their real-life romance, and soon culminated in their much-talked-about wedding.

Since their marriage, the couple has continued to be one of Bollywood’s most popular duos, often sharing glimpses of their personal life through social media. The news of their daughter’s birth has prompted an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans, colleagues, and celebrities.

Professionally, both actors have a packed slate ahead. Kiara will next be seen in War 2, starring alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The film is scheduled for release on Independence Day, August 14, 2025.

Sidharth, meanwhile, is set to appear in Param Sundari opposite Janhvi Kapoor, a romantic comedy from Maddock Films. He also has VVAN: Force of the Forest under production with Ekta Kapoor.
