Madam Secretary’s Tea Leoni and Tim Daly Are Married After Dating 11 Years

Téa Leoni and Tim Daly quietly tied the knot after more than a decade together.

The couple got married in New York City on Saturday, July 12, with their immediate family in attendance, Us Weekly confirmed on Monday, July 14.

The intimate ceremony took place 11 years after Leoni, 59, and Daly, 69, met on the set of Madam Secretary in 2014. The actors played husband and wife Elizabeth and Henry McChord on the CBS drama for six seasons until December 2019.

Offscreen, Leoni and Daly sparked up a romance in summer 2014 following Leoni’s divorce from David Duchovny that August.

Us Weekly confirmed in December 2014 that Leoni and Daly had been quietly dating for a few months after getting close on the Madam Secretary set.

“Their chemistry on set is electrifying,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “They have an amazing time filming.”

Leoni and Daly made their red carpet debut in April 2015, attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. Later that month, their Madam Secretary costar Geoffrey Arend weighed in on the coupling.

“I heard a rumor about it, and everyone was like, ‘No, no way!’ And I’m like, ‘Maybe,'” Arend, 47, told People at the time. “Nobody really knew. You don’t want to go to your boss and be like, ‘Hey, so who are you dating?’ So now I think we’re all really protective.”

Arend noted that Daly “couldn’t be a nicer guy,” adding that he and Leoni were “really good together.”

Prior to their July nuptials, both Leoni and Daly were married and welcomed children.

Leoni and Duchovny, 64, were married 17 years before calling it quits in 2014. The exes share daughter West, 26, and son Kyd, 23. (Us confirmed in May that Duchovny wed Monique Pendleberry earlier this year after six years of dating.)

Daly, meanwhile, was married to Amy Van Nostrand from 1982 to 2010. The pair share son Sam, 41, and daughter Emelyn, 36.

Leoni’s daughter, West, seemingly hinted at her mom’s special day via Instagram on Monday.

She posted a series of photos from a fancy event via her Instagram Story, including one with a woman who appeared to be her grandmother at a table full of flowers.
