Gurugram: The 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, was convened through virtual mode on 26th August 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Ravindra Kumar Tyagi, Chairman and Managing Director, in the presence of Ravisankar Ganesan, Director (Finance) and CFO, Dr Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, Director (Projects), Dr Saibaba Darbamulla, Government Nominee Director, Abhay Bakre, Government Nominee Director, Shiv Tapasya Paswan, Independent Director, Rohit Vaswani, Independent Director, and Sajal Jha, Independent Director. The President’s representatives and shareholders connected through the virtual mode.
During the AGM, the company’s key financial highlights, operational achievements, and future growth prospects, technological innovations and initiatives were presented, and the queries raised by the shareholders were addressed by the management. The shareholders appreciated the company’s performance and conveyed their best wishes for its continued growth.
As of July 31, 2025, POWERGRID has commissioned and is operating 286 Sub-stations and more than 1,80,849 ckm transmission lines and 5,74,331 MVA of transformation capacity. With the adoption of the latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, POWERGRID has been able to maintain an average transmission system availability of more than 99.85 per cent.
