‘RHOC’ Sneak Peek: Tamra and Gretchen’s Reunion Isn’t What You Expect

Hold on to your daddies, girls. Here comes the return of Tamra Judge and Gretchen Rossi’s feud.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Thursday, July 17, episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the cast comes together for a casual lunch at Nice to Meet You Skewer Hot Pot in Irvine, California.

Before Katie Ginella can introduce her friends to part of her culture, cameras roll as Tamra, 57, reunites with Gretchen, 46, for the first time in years.

“Hi! How are you? Let me reintroduce myself,” Tamra begins. “I’m Tamra Judge. It’s been a while. You look beautiful.”

While Gretchen plays nice and laughs along, the former cast member — who is returning for season 19 as a “friend” of the full-time wives — isn’t buying it.

“This definitely feels like a Tamra tactic,” she says in a confessional interview. “Pretend like everything’s great, make everybody laugh before she strikes.”

Tamra and Gretchen appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County together during seasons 4 through 8. They didn’t see eye to eye while filming, and their feud continued off-camera after Gretchen left the show in 2013.

Although Gretchen has well-established friendships with Katie, 41, and Jennifer Pedranti, some viewers may be surprised to hear her connection to Emily Simpson.

“I actually met Gretchen at my 40th birthday party,” Emily, 49, recalls in the clip. “My friendship with Tamra did suffer when I was friendly with Gretchen because I didn’t know there was a beef between the two of them. We’ve worked through it, but I’m not making that mistake again.”

While everyone appears to be playing nice at Katie’s lunch, Emily previously teased to Us that Tamra and Gretchen’s feud didn’t disappear while filming season 19.

“I would say that there’s been this ongoing toxic feud between the two of them since the Jurassic period at this point,” Emily joked in June. “Personally, I feel like I would have gotten over it, but neither one of them has. You get to witness a lot of history, a lot of references to the past.”

During Thursday’s episode, Shannon Beador will have her own news to share.

While catching up with the ladies, Shannon reveals that her daughter Sophie broke up with her boyfriend.

“[Sophie] said she’s going to focus on her career,” she recalls to the ladies. “She said this is the time I’m supposed to go out and have adventures and live life.”
