Royal Family Rocks Velvet Robes During 2025 Garter Day Celebration: Photos

The royal family continued their busy June with an outing for The Order of the Garter Service. Hosted at Windsor Castle on Monday, June 16, the annual ceremony recognizes King Charles III and 24 knights chosen for their work. Charles and his knights were seen wearing large velvet robes paired with feathered hats. The procession takes place at Windsor Castle every year with the knights accompanied by a marching band and Officers of the Order. While Princess Kate Middleton wasn’t spotted in ceremonial dress, she opted for an all-white outfit. She and Duchess Sophie, who was dressed in all pink, looked chic as they stood out from the crowd. Charles and Camilla waved at the crowd while riding in a carriage and wearing ceremonial garb.

William was also all dressed up for his carriage ride while Kate smiled lovingly at her husband.

Sophie stunned in pink while Princess Anne rocked her ceremonial dress as one of the knights.

Prince Edward was also part of the ceremony, wearing his velvet robe and feathered hat during the processional.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber also appeared to be part of the day’s events, dressed up in his own velvet look.

Kate looked radiant in white all day long.
