On her journey to find her one true love, Sofía Vergara has been linked to several A-List stars. Before becoming a famous actress, Vergara wed her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, in 1990. The pair welcomed their son, Manolo, in 1991, two years before they ultimately called it quits. Following her split from Gonzalez, Vergara dated but didn’t think about getting remarried right away because she was focused on raising her son. “I never wanted my son confused,” she said to Parade in a 2011 interview. “It’s OK for your kid to see you together on vacations, or going out for lunch or dinner, but that’s not the same as seeing him staying overnight in your room.” Nearly two decades after her divorce, Vergara thought she found love again with Nick Loeb. The twosome got engaged in 2012 after dating for two years. However, Loeb and Vergara called off their nuptials in 2014. That same year, Vergara moved on with Joe Manganiello and the duo tied the knot in November 2015. In July 2023, Manganiello and Vergara decided to divorce after seven years of marriage. Vergara married her high school sweetheart at age 18 in Colombia. During their three-year marriage, they welcomed son Manolo. Despite their decision to divorce, Vergara and Gonzalez remain “close friends.” During a 2011 interview with Parade, the Modern Family alum revealed her ex stays with her whenever he visits the United States.

Following her split from Gonzalez, Vergara briefly dated Paciello. The Miami club owner allegedly had ties with the Sicilian Mafia. In 1999, he was charged in New York in the 1993 murder of Judith Shemtov and robbery — where he was the alleged driver. The following year he pleaded guilty to a single racketeering charge and was sentenced to ten years in prison.

Vergara was reportedly linked to Iglesias in the late '90s.

Two decades after her first marriage, Vergara got serious with Loeb. The pair got engaged in 2012 after dating for two years. However, in 2014, Vergara announced she and the businessman had called off their nuptials.

One year after their split, Loeb sued the actress over a set of embryos the duo created via IVF while they were together. The legal battle went on for two years before a judge dismissed the case.

Shortly after her breakup with Loeb, Vergara began dating Manganiello. The former couple got engaged in December 2014 and tied the knot nearly one year later. In July 2023, Vergara and the True Blood alum announced they had decided to divorce after seven years of marriage. The exes finalized their divorce in February 2024.

Vergara was first spotted with the orthopedic surgeon in October 2023. “Although Sofía has been dating Justin for a short while, they’ve gotten fairly close over the past several weeks,” an insider told Us at the time. “The attraction is there and he’s definitely her type.” 

The source added: “He’s run in similar circles as Sofía for years, so her celebrity status isn’t something that intimidates him whatsoever. Sofía is attracted to his sense of humor and his intelligence. Plus, he’s a total gentleman and treats her with nothing but respect. She’s excited to see where things go.”

Vergara confirmed in January 2024 that the relationship fizzled out while sharing why she wants to “spend more time” in New York City. “I love it, who doesn’t love New York City?" Vergara said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "It’s the people, it’s the energy. I think that you have more options with men also. I’m single now!”

Though there’s been no official confirmation, Vergara and Brady sparked dating rumors after they were spotted seated awfully close to one another while onboard the Luminara yacht in July 2025.
