Tapway has expanded its operations into Indonesia by appointing ICS Compute, Metrodata, and Syspex as channel partners to distribute and support its Vision AI solutions. The expansion involves the signing of an MoU between Tapway and the three Indonesian companies, formalising their partnership.
These channel partners will be responsible for distributing licenses for Tapway’s SamurAI Vision AI platform, managing local implementation, and ensuring long-term customer support across Indonesia.
This move is part of Tapway’s regional growth strategy as an Independent Software Vendor, aiming to strengthen its distribution and deployment channels within the retail, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, and smart infrastructure sectors in Indonesia.
Tapway’s SamurAI Vision AI platform offers both off-the-shelf and customisable artificial intelligence models that do not require coding. The platform supports a range of use cases, including regulatory compliance, operational productivity, workplace safety, and customer experience enhancements.

Each partner will focus on specific sectors and use cases to maximise the applicability and performance of SamurAI.
ICS Compute will focus on deploying Vision AI for real-time automation and system integration. The integration of AI-powered camera data with business processes is intended to enable immediate responses, data-driven decision-making, and operational improvements within Indonesian enterprises.

The three partnerships will be focused on go-to-market planning, initial pilot deployments, partner enablement exercises, and ultimately securing longer-term engagements with customers.
Tapway reports that its SamurAI platform is already active in over 2,000 locations across Southeast Asia, and the firm aims to double this deployment within the coming two years. Tapway’s current areas of focus include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and now Indonesia.
