The Jonas Brothers Play Themselves — Kind Of? — In New Holiday Movie Trailer

The Jonas Brothers are ready to “let it bro” this holiday season with their upcoming Christmas film, which is aptly titled A Very Jonas Christmas Movie.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas are set to star as themselves — kind of — in the Disney+ film, which follows the brothers as they face a series of “escalating obstacles” in their quest to travel from London to New York to be with their families for Christmas. Their journey becomes more chaotic throughout the night as they become more and more desperate to make it home in time.

A Very Jonas Christmas Movie was first announced in March 2025 at the band’s JONASCON event at American Dream in New Jersey. People shared a first look at the movie, with one iconic photo showing Joe dressed in an Elton John-inspired all-white, feathery ensemble. In another still, the second eldest Jonas brother held up a sweatshirt that read, “I don’t give a schnitzel.”

“I think Disney was just such a great partner to put the full force of the holiday magic behind this movie,” Joe told the outlet.

Nick added, “One of the things that we’re really excited about, and that was so appealing to us about doing this project … is that there’s a full album that’s coming along with the film that has some holiday music and some other music.”

Joe also teased that, much like their Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, the Jessica Yu-directed film has several “wild” cameos.

“There’s so many people a part of this that we’ve yet to announce. The list goes on. And hopefully we’ll be able to keep some of it a secret up until the release. I couldn’t believe it’s been so quiet,” he added.

Who Is in the ‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’ Cast?

On September 5, 2025, Entertainment Weekly shared the first teaser trailer and the famous faces who are joining Joe, Nick and Kevin on their snowy adventure. The star-studded cast includes Randall Park as Brad, Billie Lourd as Cassidy, Laverne Cox as Stacy, KJ Apa as Gene, Andrew Barth Feldman as Ethan and Andrea Martin as Deb. Kenny G and Justin Tranter will also appear as themselves.

Of course, it’s not a Christmas movie without Santa. Modern Family alum Jesse Tyler Ferguson will take on the important role.

Chloe Bennet was previously announced as playing Lucy. Additionally, members from the Jonas family will make cameos, including Nick’s wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is seen in the trailer.

What Happens in the ‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’ Trailer?

The trailer opens with the brothers chatting in their dressing room after a show. Kevin tells Nick and Joe, “I haven’t seen my kids in, like, a month.” Then, during a FaceTime call with Priyanka, Nick promises that he’ll make it home in time for Christmas. In the next scene, Brad asks the brothers if they’re OK getting to the plane without him and Nick reassures him that everything is fine. That’s when things start to go wrong.

Cut to scenes of Joe, Nick and Kevin screaming in a car as Deb swerves on the road, a train passing by, their car broken down, Santa coming to the rescue, a parade in the streets and more. In the trailer’s final scene, the brothers are surrounded by a pack of hungry wolves in the woods.

“I’m sorry I never got to hear you sing, Kevin! I’m sure your voice is pretty OK!” Joe shouts. (Hilarious timing, given Kevin’s recent debut as a solo act during their tour.)

“Thank you!” Kevin responds.
