Who Is Yungblud? 5 Things to Know About British Rocker Dominic Harrison

11 hours ago 1

Yungblud is making a name for himself one song at a time.

The British rocker (he’s from Doncaster) stepped on the scene in 2017 with his debut single, “King Charles,” released as part of his self-titled EP. Yungblud’s first-ever record, 21st Century Liability, hit the soundwaves in July 2018, and the musician toured the album as part of the Vans Warped Tour that summer.

As his star continued to rise, Yungblud teamed up with several major artists — including Halsey, Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly — ahead of his second album release, Weird!, which dropped in 2020. The singer’s self-titled record was released in 2022, with his fourth album, Idols, dropping in June 2025. Yungblud revealed ahead of its release that this record is the first part of a bigger project.

The two-part album is “a love letter to self-reclamation … to rock music … [and] to life in all it’s f***ing madness,” Yungblud told Billboard in May 2025.

3. He Has a Star-Studded Dating History

Yungblud and Halsey briefly dated in 2019, but the two split after realizing they were better as friends. Halsey’s song “Finally // Beautiful Stranger” is about their relationship.

Yungblud started the Bludfest music festival in 2024 with the second event taking place in June 2025.

The festival’s website explains that Bludfest was born to be “a movement, a family and a space where individuality thrives” when it comes to music lovers.

“We’re breaking boundaries, smashing genres and turning up the energy. No pretentious nonsense, no corporate bollocks — just raw, unfiltered creativity, music and community,” the website reads. “It’s not just about the music (although we’ve got some killer artists lined up). It’s about the connection. The feeling of being part of something electric and unforgettable.”
