‘Bachelorette’ Alum Jed Wyatt and Wife Ellen Decker Welcome 1st Baby

Bachelor Nation added a new bundle of joy to its ranks with the arrival of Jed Wyatt and his wife Ellen Decker’s first baby.

“Daisy Jane Wyatt is here🌼🎀,” the couple announced in a joint Instagram post on Monday, September 1. They shared a sweet, black-and-white photo of the newborn sporting a knit onesie with her name on it. They also posted a family photo with Decker cradling Daisy and Wyatt smiling beside them.

“This girl stole both of our hearts on August 29th,” the pair wrote in a caption. “No words can begin to explain the love that was felt when we both finally met her. God is so good and we’re beyond thankful for our sweet healthy girl!”

Bachelorette viewers met Wyatt, 31, during season 15, which aired from May to July in 2019. Hannah Brown picked him as her final rose recipient, and the pair got engaged during the finale. However, Wyatt and Brown split shortly after filming ended when he was accused of already having a girlfriend.

Following the scandal, Wyatt moved on with Decker in November 2019. The couple got engaged in July 2022 and tied the knot in July 2024.

Wyatt and Decker announced in March that they were expecting their first baby. “This next chapter is called: mom and dad!!!” they captioned a joint Instagram post from a maternity shoot. “Finally can share our little secret 🤍 baby Wyatt, our biggest blessing coming summer ‘25 👼🏼.”

In the accompanying photos, Wyatt and Decker cradled her baby bump as they held up sonogram images while posing with an antique blue pickup truck.

Days later, the duo celebrated the happy news with an Instagram video that began with photos from their wedding day and the caption, “I can’t wait to be parents someday.” The compilation then transitioned into images from their maternity shoot alongside the word “someday.”

A clip from Decker’s sonogram subsequently appeared with the caption, “You are so so loved 🤍 So grateful for this blessing.”

Of the video, Decker and Wyatt wrote, “We have been waiting for this moment for so long… 🤍 our biggest blessing coming soon!! 👼🏼.”

Prior to starting their family, the two opened up about the beginning of their relationship, revealing in a June 2021 YouTube video the story of how they met. Wyatt had already caught Decker’s eye on social media before his stint on The Bachelorette, but they did not meet until a mutual friend encouraged him to DM her after his split from Brown.

“You were always — and to this day are — so supportive. When we first started hanging out and stuff, I wasn’t good. I was not in a good place,” Wyatt said as Decker chimed in that he seemed like “a different person” back then because of the controversy surrounding his reality TV appearance. “You just showed me so much grace and love and patience.”
