August U.S. Consumer Sentiment Index: 58.2 vs. prior reading of 58.6 and 61.7 in July, according to a University of Michigan survey released on Friday.

Year-ahead inflation expectations: +4.8% vs. initial reading of +4.9% in August and +4.5% in July.
