Ginny and Georgia Cast: See the Hit Netflix Show's Stars Then and Now 

Ginny & Georgia fans have watched the cast change on and off screen since the series premiered on Netflix in 2021. Ginny & Georgia — which stars Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Raymond Ablack and Scott Porter — follows a young single mother who moves her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts, after running away from her past. Despite quickly finding success on Netflix, Ginny & Georgia has faced production struggles after the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Season 2 wrapped up filming in early 2022, but filming on the third installment started two years later. Season 3 premiered in 2025 and production is currently in the works on the next selection of episodes. "Between season 2 ending and season 3 beginning, nothing really changed or shifted. I would just say that the season was really fleshed out once we had the writers room up and running. I knew what the tentpoles were going to be," creator Sara Lampert exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. "When we wrote season 2, there [were] certain things we planned all the way back from season 1. Now there are certain other things that we planned from season 2." She continued: "But when you're in the writers room is when you really [expand on the story]. Nothing really shifted between the wait of seasons 2 and 3, but once the writers room was up and cooking for season 3 — knowing that we had a season 4 changed how we approached this season." Since playing Georgia, Howey appeared in movies such as Plus One, Dear Santa and Kinda Pregnant. Off screen, Howey married Matt Ziering in 2021 and they welcomed their daughter two years later.

Gentry rose to fame playing Ginny but has since continued to book roles in Prom Dates and Time Cut.

The child star, who portrays Austin, has appeared in Back to the Outback, Curve Bro's Parents Gets Arrested and Executed: The Movie and Unsung Hero when not filming Ginny & Georgia. La Torraca has also scored roles in La Brea, Tyler Perry's Young Dylan and Chicago Med.

In addition to her role as Ellen, Robertson might look familiar because of her starring role as Jocelyn Schitt in the hit sitcom Schitt's Creek. Robertson has since booked TV films such as Single All the Way, Hello, Goodbye, And Everything In Between, In Merry Measure and Crawlspace.

On the small screen, Robertson has been the host of The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down. She has one child, a daughter born in 2010, from a previous marriage.

When Mallard isn’t stealing scenes as Marcus in Ginny & Georgia, he has booked roles on Locke & Key, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, Turtles All the Way Down and the upcoming miniseries Goolagong. 

The Degrassi alum, who plays Max, has recently appeared in films such as Cascade and Suze.

Before he was Mayor Paul, Porter was Jason Street in Friday Night Lights and George Tucker in Hart of Dixie. In addition to Ginny & Georgia, Porter has been booked and busy with Lucifer, Up Here, The Masked Singer, Taking the Reins and doing voiceover work on Spidey and His Amazing Friends and Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition.

Porter shares two kids with wife Kelsey Mayfield.

When he isn’t stealing hearts as Joe, Ablack, another Degrassi alum, has appeared in Love in the Villa and Stay the Night. He has also booked roles in The Wedding Ring, Maid, Boyfriends of Christmas Past and Workin' Moms.

The actress is known for her role as Abby in Ginny & Georgia but she has also starred in The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story, Pretty Hard Cases and Ghosting With Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan. On the big screen, Douglas has been in The Walk, Lazareth, This Too Shall Pass and Clown in a Cornfield. 

Clark — a third former Degrassi star — has filmed The Protector, Scared S***less and Pins & Needles since booking the role of Nora in Ginny & Georgia. She has also appeared in Hudson & Rex and Ezra.

Mitchell a.k.a Ginny’s attractive dad has done double duty with a starring role in The Boys as well.
