Hulk Hogan’s son Nick Hogan filed court documents revealing his late father left behind nearly $5 million in assets and that the wrestling icon’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, is not listed as a beneficiary to the estate, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
On Tuesday, September 9, Nick, 35, filed court documents to be named co-personal representative of his father’s estate, in addition to a man named Terry McCoy.
In the docs, Nick claimed Hulk executed a will in 2016 and amended it in 2017, 2021, 2022 and for a final time in July 2023.
Nick explained he filed a lawsuit against Bubba The Love Sponge to prevent the release of his dad’s well-known sex tape. He said he needs a curator appointed to the estate, and proposed Terry be the curator.
On September 2, Nick, serving as a representative for his father’s estate, sued Bubba in federal court over a planned documentary that he claimed infringed on the wrestler’s copyrights. Bubba’s documentary reportedly planned to discuss Hulk’s famous sex tape, which featured Bubba’s then-wife.
Nick was listed as the sole beneficiary of his father’s estate, while Hulk’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, was listed as a surviving spouse. Brooke, 37, was not listed as a beneficiary.
Following Hulk’s death, sources told TMZ that Brooke asked her father to be removed from his will. An insider said she did not want to receive any money from his estate in the event of his death.
The paperwork shows Hulk left behind $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal property and intellectual property, and in addition to his right to publicity, worth $4 million and an unknown value for a potential medical malpractice lawsuit.
TMZ reported that Hulk’s widow planned to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against the WWE star’s doctors. The wrestler underwent neck surgery in May, which Daily believes was not executed properly.
Nick did not list Hulk’s real estate property in the paperwork, which may be owned by a trust or LLC. The famous wrestler owned two separate homes next to each other in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The homes are worth an estimated $11 million.
The court signed off on the request and appointed McCoy as the curator to handle the lawsuit with Bubba.
In response to the lawsuit, Bubba publicly said, “I don’t own any of it. They’re suing the wrong people.” He added, “You dumbass. Did you watch it? Do you realize your father is not portrayed in a bad light at all?”
As Us previously reported, Hulk died on July 24 at his Florida home. His cause of death was listed as acute myocardial infarction.
Nick posted an emotional tribute to his father on July 26. “Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad’s life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting,” he wrote.

He added, “My dad was the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero. He was the most kind, loving and amazing father anybody could ask for. I feel so blessed to have had the greatest dad in the world.”
Nick continued, “He was not only the best dad but also my mentor and my best friend. He always has been my best friend and I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain.”
Brooke shared her own note on social media. She said, “My dad’s blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments.”
