For how often I fly (more than 15 times a year), I’ve never owned a neck pillow — probably because I always manage to nab a window seat. But luck wasn’t on my side for my most recent trip to Europe. I wrapped the pillow around my neck right after takeoff, fell asleep almost immediately and stayed asleep for the entirety of my eight-hour flight. My neck didn’t flop around throughout my slumber, and I awoke feeling well-rested — no neck kinks, stiffness or pain. I was ready to start exploring Italy.
