What Show Are Reality Stars Terrified to Go On? Heather Dubrow and More Tell Us

Reality stars are used to lights, cameras and drama but that doesn’t mean they’d sign up for every TV show — especially ones like Naked and Afraid or Dancing With the Stars.

Heather Dubrow, Colton Underwood and Lisa Barlow are among the reality stars who shared exclusively with Us Weekly which series they would be “terrified” to go on, with Dubrow picking just about all of them.

“I don’t want to be naked, I don’t want to be afraid. I don’t want to dance. I don’t want to be on any islands. I don’t want to get herpes. I don’t want to drown,” Dubrow exclusively reveals in Us’ Reality Stars of the Year issue.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star teases, “Is there another reality show I could go on where we drink champagne? I might already be on that one.”

Colton Underwood

The former Bachelor tells Us that Dancing With the Stars is not on his bucket list. “I would be so terrified I would want to do it, because I love pushing myself outside of a comfort zone. But I have tight hips,” Underwood shares. “My mobility is not the best.”

Britani Bateman

“Survivor. You don’t even have to finish that sentence. There’s absolutely no way,” the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star exclusively reveals to Us. “Note to casting, don’t even try. I mean, I couldn’t eat bugs. I couldn’t, there’s no way I could.”

She admits, “I like my temperature between 73 and 75 [degrees] at all times. Whether I’m in the car, outside, I will adjust as necessary. No, thanks. Or maybe Naked and Afraid. I mean, some bodies you just don’t want to see. I’m sorry, but isn’t that the truth?”

Captain Kerry Titheradge

The Below Deck star teases, “I would be terrified to go Love Is Blind, because my girlfriend would kill me.”

Guerdy Abraira

Real Housewives of Miami’s Abriara tells Us Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test would be “scary as hell” to complete on. “I’m sure it’s like, if you do well, it’s like, ‘Yes, I did it.’ But I’m like, ‘No.’ I don’t even know if I’m in shape to even go there.”

Jessi Ngatikura

“The Traitors — you never know who to believe,” the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star tells Us. “But I also think I would be so good at it, because in our group, there’s a lot of that. I would kill it!”

Sebastian Bails

“I would be most terrified to go on to Traitors,” the Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind star explains. “I feel like I don’t know what’s going to come up and, like, what’s going to occur. I’d be very scared to go in there, and I don’t think I would do very good.”

Allyshia Gupta

“Never say never. But I think Love Island scares me a little bit, just because it’s a bit raunchy,” the former Bachelor contestant admits to Us. “I’m a slow dater, it takes you some time to open up, and I think you’d have to be somebody who’s really good with also twerking. And I don’t know if that’s my forte.”

Lisa Barlow

The RHOSLC star tells Us she’d “break into a sweat” if she went on Special Forces. “I don’t know if I could do that. I think that would be extremely hard,” Barlow adds.

Brooks Marks

The Next Gen NYC personality says Naked and Afraid is a no-go for him. “I don’t want to be naked or afraid,” Marks says.

Calah Jackson

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys alum points to “one of those Challenge shows” as the reality series that makes her hesitant to join. “There’s, like, a Navy SEAL one out right now, but it would be a good [kind of] terrifying,” Jackson explains. “I would probably still do something like that, but holy s***, like it looks intense.”

Tamra Judge

“Nothing really terrifies me too much. But I would have to say Special Forces,” the Real Housewives of Orange County star says, noting that after pal Denise Richards competed on the series she vowed to never do it herself.

“I’m like, ‘I don’t think I can do that.’ No thank you. That one would scare me a bit,” Judge continues. “I’m in my 50s now. Some of these things like jumping on planes? What are they doing? Leave that to the younger generation.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe

The former Bachelorette says she “could never” do Special Forces. “Once I got there, I just wouldn’t say ‘yes,’ because I wouldn’t like that. I’m too scared,” Bristowe explains.

Carsten ‘Bergie’ Bergersen

“Naked and Afraid, I wouldn’t want to do that,” the Love Island USA alum reveals, noting, “I would be down for Special Forces or The Challenge. Nothing really scares me, but Naked and Afraid, I think going out in the woods naked, not my cup of tea.”

Kelly Bensimon

The Real Housewives New York City alum says she’d never take a stab at competing on Dancing With the Stars. “I’m a terrible dancer. I see [season 34 contestant] Hilaria Baldwin cha-cha-cha through Instagram. I just need one cha — I need to start with the one,” Bensimon laughs.

Olandria Carthen

“What’s that show where they eat bugs and stuff? Fear Factor! Is that still a thing?” the Love Island USA star wonders.

Lala Kent

“People are gonna look at me with a side-eye [for choosing DWTS]. I respect anyone who does it, but I know me, and I would fake–pass out,” the Vanderpump Rules alum confesses to Us. “Someone’s done that, right? Allegedly.”
