Jeff Lewis Slams 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Stars' Fashion

Jeff Lewis isn’t holding back when it comes to his fashion critique.

The outspoken host, 55, blasted The Real Housewives of Orange County stars on the Thursday, October 23, episode of his Jeff Lewis Live radio show, claiming their skin-baring ensembles worn in Amsterdam were far too risqué during a candid chat with Shannon Beador.

“How do we get the message across to your castmates that they need to start dressing more appropriately?” Lewis asked Beador, 61. “The Amsterdam outfits were unbelievable.”

Beador pointed out how they were told to push the style boundaries due to where they were visiting, so she donned leather leggings and over-the-knee boots, “thinking that’s about as sexy as I’m getting” during the trip that aired during season 19.

“I just think a lot of your castmates dress very inappropriately,” he emphasized.

For context, Tamra Judge wore a collared black-and-white T-shirt tucked into a pair of leather mini shorts and knee-high boots, while Jennifer Pedranti opted for a black bodysuit featuring sheer lace sleeves and panels, giving her look a bold and edgy vibe.

Heather Dubrow donned a similar getup, wearing lace pants paired with a black jacket that featured a similar detailed fabric on the sleeves.

Emily Simpson, for the getaway, rocked a sleeveless black dress with dramatic cutouts around the midsection and hips, showing some skin while keeping a sleek silhouette. Gretchen Rossi hit the scene in a black turtleneck and leather skirt featuring gold buttons with sheer tights and black boots, completing her look with a white fluffy coat.

Gina Kirschenheiter went for a “naughty schoolgirl vibe” in a black long-sleeve and plaid skirt, pairing her look with black pointed-toe pumps.

Lewis said he was not a fan of the outfits in the least, declaring, “I feel like, dress your age … it’s time to start covering up.”

Beador then defended her costars, explaining how it was “arranged that we had some windows in the Red Light District” so they dressed for that particular outing.

After seeing his commentary on X, several fans sounded off. “I’m a firm believer that women should dress how they want … but sometimes we miss the mark 😉💐,” one wrote.

Another social media user noted they didn’t like the outfits either, but asserted, “They should wear what they want to wear, regardless of what anyone thinks. Jeff should drink a big glass of stfu when it comes to what women of ANY age are wearing.”

“Shannon’s comments make sense and explain their outfits,” a third fan posted. “If they had been in the windows, it would have been really fun and their outfits would have been perfect!”

Earlier this month, Tamra, 58, made headlines for her own style commentary when she spoke out about Lesley Beador’s “cringe” Halloween costume.

David Beador‘s wife notably transformed into a RHOC star leading up to the holiday, sporting a black dress, heels, gold jewelry and an orange in her left hand. (Although Lesley has yet to appear on the show, her husband’s ex-wife, Shannon, has been a regular fixture for several seasons.)

“I don’t usually talk about her,” Tamra said on the October 9, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “Is she trying to be Shannon [Beador]? That’s just weird.”
