The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Zac Affleck is documenting newborn daughter Penelope’s first week in the world.
Zac, 28, took to Instagram on Sunday, July 6, to share a carousel of photos and videos of little Penelope — and it seems she’s already getting to grips with the highs and lows of MomTok!
“One week with our Penny girl 🤍 See the last video to get her thoughts on reality tv 😂😝,” he captioned the post, which includes a video of Zac and wife Jen, 26, watching the recent Mormon Wives: Reunion Special.
“Who are these people?” Zac quipped in the video as he cradled the little one. The camera then panned to Jen, who joked, “These people are crazy. F***ing crazy.”
The carousel also includes snaps of Zac holding baby Penelope in the hospital and a sweet photo of the newborn smiling in her sleep. (The couple also share daughter Nora, 3, and son Lucas, 23 months.)
Jen announced the arrival of the couple’s latest addition via Instagram on Wednesday, July 2. “Baby Penelope is here & she is perfect,” Jen captioned a series of photos from inside her birthing suite. “Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life. I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earth side now.”
Jen’s Mormon Wives costar Mayci Neely, who is also pregnant with her third child, commented on the post: “I love her already 🥹 can’t wait for all our girls to be besties 🫶🏼🩷.”
Mikayla Matthews, who is expecting her fourth child, wrote: “Penelope🥹 you’re amazing ❤️ can’t wait for our sweet girls to meet.”
“Welcome home Penny 🥹 proud of you Jen, congrats on the new addition to the family,” added MomTok leader Taylor Frankie Paul.

Following Penelope’s birth, Zac shared a touching tribute to his wife via Instagram, praising Jen’s strength during delivery.
“Our doula told her, ‘You have to go to the stars to bring this baby back.’ I don’t think either of us anticipated how intense natural birth would actually be,” he wrote. “It was a spiritual experience mixed with every emotion possible — one of the most bonding experiences we have ever had. It gave me a completely new level of appreciation and love for my wife I didn’t know was possible.”
Zac continued to gush, “I am genuinely speechless at how amazing women are, what their bodies go through, and what they are capable of. I love you, Jen, and am so grateful for you bringing our beautiful children into this world.”
