For one Swiftie, dressing her dog up as Taylor Swift’s engagement ring was at the top of her Halloween “wish list.”
During the Wednesday, October 29, episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, reviewed fan costumes themed around their lives and careers.
“[In this one, a] dog is Taylor’s ring,” Jason, 37, said, referring to a New York-based woman making a DIY costume to resemble Swift’s sparkler. “That’s adorable! That’s a f***ing great costume. That’s a 10 out of 10.”
Travis, 36, also approved of the dachshund’s ensemble, saying, “That’s a good costume. Hilarious.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposed to Swift, 35, in August with a custom-made ring.

“He designed it with this amazing jeweler, Kindred Lubeck. She does all of her gold engraving by hand,” Swift said during an appearance on the U.K.’s Heart radio station earlier this month. “I had shown him a video [that] I just thought was so cool.”
She continued, “I had shown him a video a year and a half ago, and he was just paying attention to everything, it turns out. When I saw the ring, I was just, like, [gasping]. I was like, ‘I know who made that! I know who made that! And also, you listen to me.’ He did amazing, it was, like, ‘You really know me.’”
Kelce worked with Artifex Fine Jewelry founder Lubeck to create an old mine brilliant cut diamond set on a gold band with smaller stones and a gold bezel.
“I didn’t know what I would want, but he did somehow,” Swift added at the time. “That’s kind of a flex.”
While Swift often can’t stop staring at her one-of-a-kind rock, it’s the symbolism that means even more to her.
“I look at it constantly,” the “Opalite” singer said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It doesn’t feel, in any way, normal for me. I’m just sort of like, ‘Oh, man,’ but it’s more than that. He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met.”
She added, “The fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever is just, like, that’s the whole thing of it. You look at that [ring] and you’re like, ‘I get to hang out with him forever,’ and this represents that.”
Swift and Travis have recently started to think about their wedding, according to a source in the latest Us Weekly cover story.
“They are both [very] involved, and Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis wants to help,” the insider exclusively told Us. “They don’t want a long engagement [and] very much want to start a family in the next year or so. Family means everything to them.”
While Swift and Travis are looking into their dream nuptial plans, the pop star admittedly didn’t have much in mind beforehand.
“You would think that I had been the type of person who would have been obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would do or what I would want until I met the person,” Swift said on the Heart radio station. “So, I haven’t actually even thought about that [or] doing a [bachelorette party] or whatever.”
