Micah Plath and Veronica Peters’ relationship has been making headlines since they made their couple debut on Welcome to Plathville in 2024. After parting ways the following year, their dramatic dynamic continues to pull fans in.
When fans were first introduced to Veronica during season 6 of the series in 2024, Micah was completely smitten. During one of their on camera dates, they went ring shopping, and Micah told the cameras, “Ever since I moved in with Veronica, I think in both of our minds, even with it unsaid, marriage is on the table.”
He confessed during the September 2024 episode that he wasn’t sure he was “quite ready” to put a ring on it. However, he did buy Veronica a “cocktail ring” to show her he was “thinking about” those next steps.
Flash forward to season 7, which premiered in summer 2025, and Micah and Veronica were officially on the rocks.
During an August 2025 episode, which filmed earlier in the year, Veronica claimed that Micah’s family wanted to “use” her and alleged that his mom, Kim Plath, “wanted me to put your name on the title of the house.”
“We’re not married,” she quipped. “I’m not a Plath.” The argument — which was one of many filmed that season — ended up being very telling as Veronica confirmed in July 2025 that she and Micah had quietly called it quits.

September 2023
Micah soft-launched his relationship with Veronica by including her in an Instagram photo dump from his family’s Labor Day vacation. Amid the pictures of the Plaths kayaking and eating together by the sea, Micah shared a group snap that included Veronica, whom he tagged.
July 2024
Us Weekly exclusively shared the first look at Veronica’s Welcome to Plathville debut ahead of the season 6 premiere that month. In the clip, Micah shared that he and Veronica — who he didn’t identify by name — were “going to take things slow as far as having a public relationship.”
He explained that his girlfriend was “cautious and shy” about going public and being part of the TLC reality show.
“This is the first time I’ve moved in with someone before,” Micah told the cameras after they captured a blonde-haired woman walking through the home. “The little things matter more than the big things.”
August 2024
Veronica officially made her Welcome to Plathville debut during the August 20 episode after previously vowing to keep her face off camera.
“It was definitely a point of, not contention, but it was definitely something talked about a lot,” Veronica of her initial plan to stay off screen. “I never was the person that wanted to be in the spotlight. I liked being in the back of the room. I liked being the one listening to everything, the one not involved in everything.”
During the episode, Micah gushed about his life in Florida with Veronica and their three dogs. “I look at you and me as like, we’re basically married. It’s, like, the commitment level that we have together,” he shared.
That same month, Veronica publicly debuted their romance via Instagram, posting photos of the pair on dates and spending time with the Plaths. (Following their split, she edited some of the captions on the coupled-up photos to be subtle digs at Micah and his family. For example, she captioned a Plath beach selfie, “Much Needed Snake Time 🐍.”)
September 2024
Veronica appeared to be fitting in well with the Plaths during season 6 of the show. She even bonded with Micah’s dad, Barry Plath, over their dislike of Ethan Plath’s ex-wife, Olivia Plath.
“When we first met, we spent a long time discussing a common experience. We both had experience with a narcissist in our lives,” Barry said during the September 17 episode.
Veronica later told the cameras, “So, Olivia’s definitely the narcissist Barry and I were talking about. Sorry, girl, I call it like I see it.” (The Plaths had a strained relationship with Olivia before she and Ethan filed for divorce in February 2024. They allegedly thought Olivia was controlling Ethan and not allowing him to be with the family.)
October 2024
“Adventures with my best friend. Iykyk,” Veronica captioned a selfie with Micah on a road trip. In what appears to be the edited portion of the caption, she added, “This trip he did not leave me on the side of the road alone in the middle of Georgia 😌.”
Rumors surfaced in early 2025 that after Veronica and Micah called it quits, she was left stranded in Georgia as he drove to Florida to pack up his belongings.
December 2024
Amid their budding romance, Veronica and Micah moved into new digs in Florida. “New house, half birthday, and a whole lot of extra! 🏡🎂,” Veronica wrote via Instagram. “Celebrating milestones big and small, because life’s too short for just one party!”
January 2025
Veronica shared a vulnerable message with her Instagram followers about struggling with body-shaming and dysmorphia, revealing she suffered from bulimia for years. “For years, I let society’s toxic standards and my own insecurities dictate how I saw myself,” she explained. “But here’s the truth: we were born this way for a reason. Our differences make us unique and beautiful, and our worth is never tied to a number, a shape, or someone else’s perception.”
She added: “It’s time to stop hiding. To be vulnerable, authentic, and proud of who we are. Love yourself, because you are your greatest investment. Here’s to being healthy, honest, and unapologetically you.”
Micah showed Veronica support in the comments section, writing, “I don’t know anyone more beautifuler than you 🤍.”
Earlier that month, Micah sparked marriage speculation when he shared a photo with Veronica via Instagram. “Side by side always 🤍 @veronica.plath,” he captioned the January 2 upload.
Fans were quick to point out that he tagged “Veronica.Plath,” which some thought meant they were not legally married. Veronica, however, cleared up the rumors in the comments section.
“I actually legally changed my name to have no last name,” she wrote. “I can’t wait for people to get upset over the fact I am legally just Veronica.” The pair also revealed in the bio page for the “Veronica.Plath” account that it was a “joint account,” but it no longer exists.
February 2025
As fans would learn during season 7 of Welcome to Plathville, Veronica and Micah faced a lot of relationship woes to start off the year. However, Veronica did attend Lydia Plath and Zac Wyse’s wedding on February 22 as Micah’s plus one.
March 2025
Veronica hinted at her and Micah’s breakup by sharing a cryptic message about animals.
“They said the animals liked no one — funny, they seemed just fine with me. Maybe they just cannot stand shitty people, neglect, and abuse. Shocking, I know. 🐮🤍,” she wrote via Instagram alongside photos of her petting cows in a field. (It was later revealed on the TLC series that Veronica’s outfit in the pictures was the same one she wore to Lydia’s rehearsal.)
July 2025
In June 2025, Veronica once again teased her split from Micah, sharing an Instagram selfie with the caption, “Not part of the chaos, still part of the conversation.”
Weeks later, she confirmed their breakup. “So, they did it. They broke me,” Veronica said in a July Instagram video, seemingly referring to the Plath family.
She explained, “As most of you know, Micah and I broke up months ago after a violent wedding that was filmed on camera,” which many think was Lydia and Zac’s nuptials.
Veronica alleged that there was underage drinking, abuse and domestic violence that all transpired at the wedding. She further claimed that there were “threats, violence and barbaric behavior” at the event, and that she was “in danger several times.”
“I left the family at that point,” Veronica explained. “Done.”
Us Weekly has reached out to TLC for comment.
Later that month, season 7 of Welcome to Plathville shed light on the issues Veronica and Micah were dealing with behind closed doors. During the July 29 episode, Veronica revealed, “Micah has cheated on me several times.”
“I was more scared about the truth coming out because it would hurt you,” she said as Micah sat quietly beside her. “And I put myself aside and my pride and backed him and blamed myself.”
August 2025
Us shared an exclusive first look at Micah’s response to Veronica’s affair allegations.
“When we did long distance in L.A. … I was still doing other relationships,” Micah explained during the preview of the August 5 episode. “All of that stopped when I decided to move here.”
He then confessed, “However, I didn’t close any of the doors. I kept keeping up with other females and meeting up with them.”
Once Veronica found out he’d been unfaithful, Micah said he “cut out every relationship with every girl.” He noted he was “so grateful” that she gave him a second chance.
The couple, however, still had trust issues and Veronica admitted to being at odds with Micah’s family after they allegedly blamed her for stirring the pot with Moriah Plath when Moriah was dating a toxic man.
September 2025
As the falling out between Veronica and Micah continued to unfold on camera, his family began voicing their opinions on Welcome to Plathville. During the September 9 episode — which showed Lydia and Zac’s wedding rehearsal — Ethan went off on Veronica.
“She’s become quite a little demon,” Ethan said, describing Veronica after she previously claimed that his girlfriend, Teegan Nichols, had an OnlyFans account. (Teegan denied the allegations.)

As Veronica continued to be nice to Ethan and Micah’s little sisters, the eldest brother grew more upset. “First thing she does is just shower the little girls with love and hug them and say, ‘Hi.’ And that just reeks of manipulation to me,” Ethan said, referring to Veronica chatting with some but not all of his family. “It’s like, of course you’d go after the little girls.”
Isaac Plath, for his part, told Micah how upsetting it was that Veronica showed up to the wedding festivities last minute. He later told the cameras that Veronica was “trying to control” Micah and “what he does, who he sees, even if it’s his family.”
