Woman From Viral Coldplay Video Was ‘Energized’ to Meet CEO Andy Byron

Astronomer Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot was “energized” to meet the company’s CEO, Andy Byron, when she joined the firm in 2024.

“I was energized in my conversations with Andy and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here,” she said in a press release announcing her hiring in November of last year.

Cabot and Byron were caught on the Gillette Stadium jumbotron Kiss Cam on Wednesday, July 16, getting a little too cozy during a Coldplay concert. When the pair realized they were on camera, Byron dropped to the ground, and Cabot quickly hid her face.

When he noticed what was happening, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin remarked, “Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” as the crowd responded with laughter.

Multiple media outlets have since reported that Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, not Cabot. Social media sleuths later found what appeared to be Kerrigan Byron’s Facebook page, spamming it with comments before she seemingly deactivated her account. (Byron also appears to have deactivated his LinkedIn page.)

Us Weekly reached out to Astronomer and both executives for comment.

“I prefer to think of my role as people strategy versus traditional human resources, as the real magic happens when you align the people strategy with the business strategy,” Cabot said in the release. “There are plenty of companies out there where a leadership team doesn’t recognize the value that a strong people leader and people team can bring to a company. It’s not just about benefits or catered lunches.”

Before coming to Astronomer, Cabot worked for graph database management company Neo4j. Byron, who joined the company in 2023, also spoke glowingly of Cabot, praising her leadership and expertise.
