Bethenny Frankel Calls This $15 Vitamin C-Infused Lip Serum with SPF a ‘Summer Must-Have’

There’s a new lip product on the scene, and Bethenny Frankel has already given it her seal of approval. BeautyStat, known for its skincare, introduced its C Lip Serum on May 1. Shortly after, Frankel shared in a TikTok video explaining that someone who works with her told her she needed to try the new beauty product.

Right off the bat, Frankel called the serum “davoon” (her version of “divine”) and said it smells like sherbet. What made it stand out to her was that it was “so creamy.” We all know that Frankel doesn’t hold back on her opinions — whether she’s reviewing a product or going at it on The Real Housewives of New York City — so her calling the BeautyStat C Lip Serum “excellent,” “delicious” and a “summer must-have” holds serious weight. This lip serum covers a lot of ground in one product. Vitamin C battles dryness and protects against the environmental elements, while sun protection factor (SPF) 30 keeps your lips safe from ultraviolet (UV) rays. And while it’s doing all that, the silky-smooth formula —  or as Frankel calls it, “so creamy” —  provides ample hydration, plumps lips and enhances brightness with a shiny finish.

The BeautyStat C Lip Serum comes in two colors: ‘baby pink’ and ‘neutral peach.’ Frankel tried the ‘baby pink’ and said it was pretty clear rather than a stand-out pink. Both colors can be worn throughout the year, but it’s convenient that they’re here in time for summer when you sometimes don’t want anything super dramatic.

Wear the $15 lip serum on its own or over your favorite lipstick or gloss. The brand recommends reapplying it every two hours for optimal sun protection. But with the product’s orange-vanilla ‘dreamsicle’ flavor, you’ll want to do that anyway!

BeautyStat just released the C Lip Serum, so there aren’t too many real-world reviews yet. But so far, shoppers can’t go over how well the product glides onto their lips and how good and hydrating it feels. Sounds like a summer winner to Us, too!
