Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was one of the lucky few in attendance at Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s wedding — and he gave Us an exclusive peek behind the scenes.
Allen, 29, and Steinfeld, 28, tied the knot during a lavish ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31.
“It was a fun wedding,” said Kincaid, 25, who spoke to Us Weekly while promoting his partnership with The Q-Collar. “It was personal. Everyone was just living in the moment and that’s exactly what you want. Everyone just there together, present and enjoying the night.”
In an issue of her Beau Society newsletter after the wedding, Steinfeld explained that she and Allen had a “no-phone wedding.”
“Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made,” Steinfeld wrote.
Since Allen walked down the aisle, Kincaid has seen a noticeable change in his superstar quarterback.
“With him now being a married man, I think he’s definitely developed more of an aura,” Kincaid said. “I think this is the first time I’ve ever used that as an adjective.”
While Allen might have a bit more swagger to him on the football field, Kincaid acknowledged being married to the Sinners actress hasn’t gone to his head.
“Josh is the same old guy,” Kincaid said. “I don’t think he’ll ever really change. He’s as genuine as it gets. It’s not hard to want to lay it all out there for him.”
Allen, Kincaid and the Bills begin the 2025 NFL season when they host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, September 7. Given the team’s pedigree, it’s Super Bowl or bust for the franchise this year.
Kincaid doesn’t shy away from those expectations, but has learned that the season is far more a marathon than a sprint.
“We really preach playoff-caliber,” he explained. “You can’t win a Super Bowl unless you make it to the playoffs. The first goal is just making it to the playoffs. From there, it’s all eyes on winning the big one.”
The Bills have advanced to the Divisional Playoff Round each of the last five seasons, making the AFC Championship Game twice. However, the team hasn’t reached a Super Bowl since 1993.
As Kincaid gears up for his third NFL season, all with the Bills, he has partnered with The Q-Collar, developed by Q30 Innovations, the first and only FDA-cleared sports equipment proven to help protect the brain from repetitive head impacts.
“Why not protect your brain?” Kincaid asked. “My sister [Kelsey] is an ER doctor, so she’s always kind of nagging at me, ‘Oh, did you hurt this? Did you hurt that?’ When it comes to the head and the brain, she’s real adamant that that’s something you can’t really afford to mess with.”
Kincaid continued, “Why would you not wear something that can protect you and the longevity of playing in the league, as well? That life span is pretty limited.”
