‘Maxton Hall: The World Between Us’ (Prime Video)

DRAMA RETURN: This German-language series set at an elite boarding school was a surprise obsession of 2024 — so much so that Mona Kasten’s book trilogy is now getting translated into English. In season 2, scholarship student Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and rich kid James (Damian Hardung) have split, but as he’s spiraling, he’s still trying to win her back. (Friday, November 7)

‘The Beast in Me’ (Netflix)
