Kevin Costner's Ex-Wife Christine Baumgartner Is Married to Josh Connor

Christine Baumgartner and Josh Connor have said “I do.”

People confirmed that the couple exchanged vows on Saturday, October 18, at the Santa Ynez Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. With just over 100 guests in attendance, the outdoor ceremony was held prior to sunset.

Baumgartner, 51, stunned in a custom Mira Zwillinger gown with hand-embroidered flowers before changing into a white satin Lihi Hod strapless dress for the reception. Connor, also 51, rocked a custom-tailored black tuxedo.

Baumgartner was linked to the financier after she filed for divorce from ex-husband Kevin Costner in May 2023. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation after nearly two decades of marriage. (The exes, who finalized the proceedings in 2024, share sons Cayden, 18, and Hayes, 16, and daughter Grace, 15. Costner also shares daughters Annie, 41, and Lily, 39, and son Joe, 37, with ex-wife Cindy Silva and son Liam, 28, with ex Bridget Rooney.)

Connor, a friend of Costner’s, was first spotted with Baumgartner in Hawaii in 2023. One month after their trip, Baumgartner testified during her and Costner’s divorce proceedings that she and Connor were just friends. Costner, for his part, questioned whether Baumgartner was faithful after she requested documents pertaining to his finances.

“Respondent has no responsive documents for ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ in which he engaged because he engaged in none,” read court documents obtained by Us in August 2023. Costner’s attorneys also noted that the actor “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid.”

In 2024, multiple outlets confirmed that Baumgartner and Connor were dating. After news broke of the pair’s romance, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Costner, 70, had an idea about their relationship.

“Kevin had strong suspicions that something was going on between Christine and Josh. Their close [bond] was a real elephant in the room,” an insider shared in 2024, noting that the twosome’s bond became romantic “relatively recently.”

“Christine doesn’t think Kevin has anything to complain about,” the source explained. “Josh has been Christine’s rock throughout the divorce ordeal. If Kevin has a problem with that, that’s on him.”

The next year, People reported that Connor popped the question during a date night on the beaches of Santa Barbara. The area was reportedly secluded due to rainy weather. Us reached out for comment at the time.

Us reported in August that Costner, meanwhile, is dating author and director Kelly Noonan Gores. “They are hanging out casually and were connected by friends,” a source shared.

While Costner resides in Carpinteria, California, Noonan Gores, 46, lives in Manhattan Beach. The insider noted that their romance is “not serious” yet, but they have “spent time” together in Colorado.

“They both frequent Aspen often and have mutual friend groups,” the source shared. “They have been getting to know each other and seeing each other casually when they can.”
