'Love Island USA' Season 7 Winners Amaya and Bryan Break Up

Love Island USA season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales have ended their relationship less than one month after leaving the villa.

“Bryan and I are no longer together,” Amaya, 25, wrote in a Wednesday, August 27, statement shared via her Instagram Stories. “After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys.”

She added, “Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty.”

Amaya further stressed that she wishes Bryan, 28, “the best” moving forward.

“All love here,” she concluded.

Bryan, who has not yet addressed the breakup, was previously accused of infidelity during the reunion earlier this week. He denied the accusations, telling hosts Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen that he had a “lapse in judgment” after being seen at a nightclub with a pair of women.

“They’re trying to just throw any hate my way,” Bryan argued. “And with the cheating video, the hosting, I got paid to be there, I used to bartend back in the day, I had a lapse in judgment, we’ve talked about it.” When Cohen pressed for more details, Bryan said he was “pouring shots around” to individuals in the crowd.

Amaya, for her part, echoed Bryan’s version of the events.

“We definitely spoke about it,” she said at the time. “I’m also not a woman who would be with someone who doesn’t respect me. So if I’m still with him, it’s because the relationship dynamic is healthy and great.”

Elsewhere during the reunion, Amaya and Bryan detailed how they planned to date long-distance between New York City and Boston.

“[We] just prioritize our relationship,” she added. “I’m very confident in our relationship and I feel like you are too.”

Bryan replied, noting that the pair were still “just growing” together.

Shortly after the reunion was filmed, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Amaya and Bryan had unfollowed each other on social media. Amaya continued to raise eyebrows about her relationship status as she reposted a flurry of memes that alluded to heartbreak.

“When I finally pick myself back up and never let my walls down like that again,” one caption read.

Amaya and Bryan had left the Love Island villa in an exclusive relationship.

“We care deeply about each other and we don’t want to rush things,” Bryan told Us Weekly in a cover story last month. “Her happiness is very important. My happiness is very important. We got the love that we got [from fans] because we’re letting things happen naturally instead of doing stuff for the public eye, and we’re gonna continue doing that.”
