Mormon Wives' Dakota Reacts to Taylor Frankie Paul Revealing Their Last Hookup

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Dakota Mortensen is reacting to ex Taylor Frankie Paul‘s comments about the last time they had sex.

During the Wednesday, September 10, episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Taylor, 31, was asked where she stands with Dakota, 33, now that she’s going to be the next Bachelorette.

“It’s over and we’ll see that play out,” Taylor said in a clip shared via TikTok before teasing when her and Dakota were last intimate. “I can’t remember off the top of my head to be honest,” she confessed.

Taylor admitted the former couple probably hooked up at Stagecoach in April and “one after,” adding, “It’s been very confusing if I’m being honest.”

Dakota took to the comments section of the TikTok post to offer his version of events. “1 or 2 times,” he replied. “Got it lol.”

Later that day, Dakota seemingly broke his silence about Taylor becoming the next lead of ABC’s The Bachelorette.

“Had so many curve balls today and every time I am always reminded there is nothing more important than God and family ❤️,” he wrote via Instagram. “Life is too short.”

After news about Taylor’s new gig broke on Wednesday, she spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her search for love — including whether she is hoping to get engaged.

“Definitely, that’s the goal here,” the reality star, who shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul, and 17-month old son Ever with Dakota, said. “And as my mom likes to say, I do fall in love quickly, and that’s also the reason I did it. I always call myself a lover girl because I, like, fall for people and I have done that in the past.:

She continued, “Obviously, I got married young, and the first guy I dated was my second baby daddy — so it was just very quick, and this time, it’s going to be really cool, because, yes, I have been opening up to dating, but now I’m about to date, you know, 20 [or] 30 guys, and I’ve never done that before. I’m going to take my time, I’m going to kind of, like, get to know people. Maybe I learned things I didn’t like or do like that I didn’t even know. So I think this is gonna be really good for the long-term effect.”

At the time, Taylor revealed that she didn’t tell Dakota about her decision.

“I have not confirmed it with him. It’s just not something that’s been on, like, my priority list to confirm with him,” Taylor told Us. “I don’t know exactly how he’ll react or feel, but he does know that we opened the gates of dating other people. [He’ll] probably [be] sad. I assume that it’s like, ‘Whoa, she’s gonna be dating people, a lot, and then also, in front of me,’ and that’s probably gonna be kind of hard to watch.”

She added, “I can’t speak for him, but I’d assume it wouldn’t be the best news he’s heard on that day.”

Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives starts streaming on Hulu November 13 and Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette will premiere on ABC in 2026.
