Paris Hilton Shares Her Makeup Evolution From 2000s Glam to Now

13 hours ago 1

Paris Hilton has entered a new era of glam — and is giving some of her Y2K beauty favorites a modern twist.

The pop culture icon and Global Ambassador for Paul Mitchell, 44, revealed that she used to do her own makeup in the early 2000s during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, and would often resort to her trademark “really smokey, black, dark eye” and other essentials.

“Tried it this weekend again,” Hilton tells Us. “That’s a timeless look that I’ve always loved, and now, I love beautiful eyelashes and highlighters.”

These days, Hilton has taken a more refined approach with her getting ready process and leaned into a style that still channels her signature “that’s hot” energy.

“I’ve always loved glitter and sparkles and lip glosses, I feel like it stays, in a sense, the same, and always will feel like that Paris vibe. Pink glossy lips with cat eye lashes and being tan,” she continues.

Hilton tells Us that being a mom has led her to embrace a fresh-faced look when she’s not hitting the red carpet or posing for photos at a star-studded event.

The heiress to the Hilton hotels and her husband, Carter Reum, are the proud parents of two kids, Phoenix and London, whom they welcomed in January 2023 and November 2023, respectively, both via surrogacy.

“So I feel like, yeah, it’s definitely evolved, just because makeup has changed, but mostly now, if I’m not working, I’m just always when I’m at home with my kids, I’m just natural,” she shares. “I don’t have any makeup on. I just have my hair in a bun and just chilling.”

Prior to her makeup application, Hilton reveals that she likes to submerge her face in a bowl filled with ice to reduce any puffiness and make her skin feel amazingly “refreshed.”
