Russell Crowe and Britney Theriot Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Russell Crowe enjoyed a rare night out with girlfriend Britney Theriot.

Crowe, 61, brought Theriot, 33, as his plus one to the Toronto International Film Festival premiere for his new film, Nuremberg, on Sunday, September 7. The couple could be seen standing side by side as they smiled for photos.

The actor wore a black suit with a white button-up and a light blue tie, completing the ensemble with a pair of red-lens sunglasses. Crowe also showed off his scruff with a full gray beard.

Theriot, for her part, dazzled in a silver spaghetti-strap dress featuring floral embellishments. She completed the look with silver strappy heels and wore her hair down, showing off her curls.

Crowe also posed with director James Vanderbilt and costars Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, John Slattery and Richard E. Grant. Following the premiere, the actors received a standing ovation for their performance in the drama.

Nuremberg, based on the Jack El-Hai book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, follows psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Malek), who is tasked with determining if Crowe’s character Hermann Göring is fit to stand at the historic 1940s Nuremberg trials. The film hits theaters on November 7.

Crowe and Theriot’s night out in Toronto comes three months after they attended Wimbledon together in London.

Theriot and Crowe reportedly met on the set of Broken City in 2013. However, they weren’t romantically linked until seven years later. The pair were first spotted together in November 2020, when they were photographed kissing while playing tennis together in Sydney, Australia.

Two years later, Crowe and Theriot made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Rome premiere of his film, Poker Face, in 2022.

Last year, Crowe gave a small glimpse into his life with Theriot when he recalled a romantic moment between the pair after he played a show with his band 30 Odd Foot of Grunt in the Czech Republic.

“I struggled through a packed bar to get to the restroom. Trying to avoid the crowd on the way back, I took a shortcut across the dance floor. Halfway across it, I bumped into my girlfriend, Britney. Naturally, she thought I’d come there to find her,” he said in an interview with People. “So I took her into my arms and we danced. Using the type of moves my old man would, spinning her around and bringing her back. Her eyes were sparkling with the fun of it all. For a couple of minutes, [everyone] stopped and watched. It was like a scene from a movie.”

Before finding love with Theriot, Crowe was previously married to ex-wife Danielle Spencer. Crowe and Spencer tied the knot in 2003 and share two sons Charles, 21, and Tennyson, 19. In 2012, Crowe and Spencer separated after nine years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in April 2018.
