Welcome to Plathville returns to TLC this month, and Us Weekly has an exclusive first look at the cast’s official portraits.
It’s been six years since fans met the Plath family, helmed by now-exes Kim Plath and Barry Plath. Come season 7, which premieres on Tuesday, July 22, viewers will see how the former spouses and their children, including eldest child Ethan Plath and his most vocal sister, Moriah Plath, have transformed.
In Us’ sneak peek at the family’s season 7 portraits, it’s clear that romantic statuses aren’t the only things that have ebbed and flowed. Lydia Plath, for example, exudes poise and happiness in her portrait, which matches her journey to finding husband Zac Wyse.
Both Ethan, who is now dating Teegan Nichols following his divorce from Olivia Plath, and Micah Plath have gone from boys to men in front of the cameras. That physical change is evident by their respective beards. Micah has also grown out his blond locks.

Issac Plath and younger sisters Amber Plath, Cassia Plath and Mercy Plath seem to be stepping into the limelight even more this season — and their Plath family resemblance can’t be missed. Moriah, however, who has always marched to the beat of her own drum, sets herself apart with jet black hair. (Eldest sister Hosanna Plath is the only sibling not on the show.)

Barry opted for a strong and stern pose for his season 7 portrait, but based on the recent trailer, he doesn’t have everything under control — at least when it comes to finalizing his divorce from Kim.
Micah showed off his golden locks and mature facial features while posing for the camera. While he looks happy in the picture, Micah’s relationship drama with Veronica Peters will be a focal point this season.
Moriah has rocked a variety of hair colors over the years, from ice white and purple to dark black. Ahead of the season premiere, Moriah detailed her ups and downs with alopecia, revealing via Instagram on July 7, “A few months ago I lost all my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes again. It was extremely hard and emotional, and I had to come to terms with it.”
At the time, she was “trying to master” wearing wigs and drawing on her eyebrows, adding, “I’m learning to love myself the way God made me, with or without hair … it’s a continuous struggle but I’m getting there!”
Lydia glowed in her close-up, which was taken after she and Zac tied the knot in February. (The couple are newly engaged on season 7.)
