Brandi Glanville’s fans are urging her to find a different way to fight her facial parasite after she seemingly got severe chemical burns from putting Nair on her cheeks and chin.
“I know I look attractive,” Glanville, 52, said in a TikTok video on Sunday, August 3, referring to her red, blotchy, damaged skin. “So, good news, you guys don’t have to spend a lot of money on peels and lasers anymore.”
Glanville explained that she had decided to put Nair, which is a hair removal cream, on her cheeks because she realized that exfoliating her skin “pisses off” the parasite in her face.
“Nair is the fountain of youth. I figured it out, but I overdid it,” Glanville continued. “Seven minutes. Don’t do it.”
In the caption of the video, Glanville encouraged viewers to do a “test patch” before trying Nair on their face.
“I’m on fire sooooioko [sic] don’t to 7 minutes it also burned the loose skin off my arms & its 7 dollars,” she wrote. “Mix up some aloe vera, cucumber and black tea put it in the freezer put it in the spray bottle and once it’s cold enough spray all day cause I’m in some pain.”
Fans in the comments expressed concern for Glanville’s skin.
“Chemical burn? 😣 I would go to ER,” one user wrote, while another fan added, “Please do NOT put Nair in your face!!”
Glanville first revealed her struggles with a facial parasite in December 2024 after she experienced swelling, disfiguration and trouble speaking.
“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests … I did lab work for $10,000,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I ran every test under the sun. … They’re like, ‘It could be a parasite.’ That’s, you know, new.”
Taking to X with a selfie showcasing her disfigurement, Glanville wrote, “What happened? I wish I knew I’ve been in &out of the hospital this passed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.’s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress induced edema. I personally say it’s Bravo.”
Glanville shared an update on her health battle in April, revealing that she was hospitalized due to worsening symptoms.
“My head and neck would not move for four hours this morning. I could not get out of my bed,” she wrote on X at the time. “I called 911 had a lovely trip in the ambulance now I am at this amazing place after sitting in a wheelchair in the waiting room for four hours.”

Glanville exclusively told Us Weekly that same month that she had spent more than $113,000 trying to treat her condition.
“I’m out of funds. I’m out over six figures at this point,” she said. “I don’t have the means to go anywhere at this point. I’m online every day, going down a different rabbit hole. It’s exhausting. It’s all-consuming.”
She continued, “[My lowest moment is] just not living life and missing out on life. I literally don’t do anything and I feel like I’m experiencing [the] COVID-19 [pandemic lockdown] all over again, but with some miserable side effects. I miss socializing with my girlfriends and then having sex with men. I’m a Scorpio. I love sex. So, I was having a lot of it and now I haven’t had any of it and I’m like, ‘Have I forgotten how to kiss?’ But, like, I’ve lost myself. I feel more insecure than I ever have in my life. Normally, I feel fairly secure and I don’t get nervous. I don’t get anxiety about most things. Some things do give me anxiety, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like I lost Brandi.”
