Lindsay Arnold Hints at Plans for Baby No. 3 With Husband Sam Cusick

Lindsay Arnold is thinking about expanding her family with husband Sam Cusick again.

“Me to my husband: ‘Maybe we should start trying to get pregnant this month,’” Arnold, 31, wrote over a TikTok video on Sunday, August 3. “My IUD still in my body: …”

Arnold set the video to Taylor Swift’s song “I Forgot That You Existed” and lip-synched to the lyrics, “I forgot that you existed / And I thought that it would kill me, but it didn’t.”

“Maybe next year? 😉😂 #momsoftiktok #momhumor #pregnancy #babynumber3,” she wrote in the caption.

Arnold and Cusick, 31, share daughters Sage, 4, and June, 2.

The couple, who began dating as teens and later tied the knot in 2014, announced they were expecting their first baby in May 2020.

“Ohhhhhh baby 👶 Mom and Dad love you already ❤️❤️,” the Dancing With the Stars pro captioned an Instagram post at the time, sharing a photo of herself sitting on Cusick’s lap and holding up her ultrasound scans.

Sage was born via C-section in November 2020.

“The most beautiful surprise on this very special day,” Arnold wrote via Instagram at the time.

Arnold and Cusick announced baby No. 2 in October 2022, sharing photos from a maternity shoot.

“We are beyond grateful and feel so blessed to be adding a new addition to our family and Sage cannot wait to be a big sister 🥹,” Arnold shared.

Arnold later announced June’s birth via Instagram in May 2023, writing, “She is here and healthy. Arrived this afternoon. Will share more soon.”

Arnold revealed in August 2024 that she believed she was pregnant with baby No. 3 despite having an IUD.

“As far as life and updates with me, fun fact, I took a pregnancy test yesterday because I thought I was pregnant,” she said in a TikTok video at the time, emphasizing that she and Cusick were “not trying” to have another baby yet and there was “no reason” she should be pregnant.

“I was super nauseous for three days in a row. My period has been so weird and all over the place,” Arnold continued. “I thought I was [pregnant], but I wasn’t. So that was a kind of a little rush of like, ‘OK, OK, not pregnant.’ So there’s that.”

Arnold added that she had been getting “asked a lot more frequently” when she and Cusick would have baby No. 3.

“June is now at the age where it wouldn’t be that crazy for me to get pregnant right now,” she explained. “But we definitely aren’t quite ready yet.”

Arnold added that she liked her daughters’ two and a half year age gap and didn’t want to have children “any closer than that.”

“So that would mean us starting to try maybe [at the] end of the year, like December [or] January,” she said. “Only thing that’s so hard is it took me like 11 months to get pregnant with June. Part of me is like, ‘Do we start trying in case it takes a long time?’ But then I’m like, I feel like when you do that then you get pregnant on the first try.”

While Arnold said that she and Cusick planned to “wait until we are fully ready” for another child, she knew already that their family felt incomplete.

“I can’t even tell you how many times I go to leave the house and go, ‘Oh, we forgot,’ and feel like I forgot a child,” she explained. “Or when I look at a family photo, I’m like, ‘Wait, where?’ And then I realize I’m like, ‘No, that’s all of our kids.’”
