Shortly after her 18th birthday, Lil Tay launched an OnlyFans account — and allegedly made $1 million within a few hours.

On Sunday, August 3, Lil Tay shared a screenshot of her total income that she has made on the exclusive content platform so far, which added up to $1,024,298.09. The rapper made $511,003.79 in subscriptions, $26,736.19 in tips and $486,558.11 from messages.

“$1M in 3 hours 🤩We broke the f*** out of that onlyfans record 🥰🥰🥰,” Lil Tay captioned the post via Instagram. “Come see content I took of myself at 12:01AM on my 18th BDAY😳ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 24hrs.”

Lil Tay gained popularity at only 9 years old when her Instagram videos started going viral, but she rose to fame as a rapper in 2018. She has continued to collaborate with other major stars such as Bhad Bhabie, Jake Paul and Diplo.

The rapper has garnered several headlines throughout the years, including in August 2023 when someone posted a false statement to her Instagram claiming that she died.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing,” the statement read via Instagram at the time. “We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief.”

Only one day later, Lil Tay shared that she and her brother were very much alive and well.

“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say,” she told TMZ in August 2023. “It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.”

Lil Tay noted that her Instagram account “was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors” regarding her, including sharing the wrong name.

“My legal name is Tay Tian, not ‘Claire Hope,’” she added.

Nearly one year after her death hoax, Lil Tay made headlines once again when she had to have open-heart surgery following a “life-threatening tumor.”

“We are overjoyed to share that Tay’s open-heart surgery was a great success!” Lil Tay’s family shared in a statement on her Instagram in September 2024. “We are deeply thankful to her surgeon, cardiologist and the team who are the best in the world. Thank you for the love, prayers, and positive energy you have all sent her way. Thank you for your continued support. We ask kindly for everyone’s love and prayers.”
