DWTS' Gleb Savchenko Thought About ‘Getting Married' to Ex Brooks Nader

Gleb Savchenko had thoughts about proposing to Brooks Nader during their “hot and heavy” relationship.

The Love Thy Nader series premiere on Tuesday, August 26, focused a lot on Brooks’ past romance with the Dancing With the Stars pro. Savchenko, 41, even brought up his future plans with Brooks, 28, during a conversation with her dad, Breaux Nader.

“We’re getting married,” Savchenko said, as Breaux, 51, could be seen shaking his head.

“You’ve gotta drive to Baton Rouge to meet my parents,” Breaux said when discussing “permission” to propose. “We might institute cousins for this one.”

Savchenko joked that the process to marry Brooks was “harder than getting a U.S. visa.”

During his confessional, Breaux admitted that the PDA between Brooks and Savchenko was “a little bit over the top.” Breaux wished that they would be more like him and wife, Holland Nader.

“Follow our example,” he said. “You know, we may hold hands a little bit, but that’s about it.”

Brooks had an instant connection with Savchenko when they were paired together for Dancing With the Stars season 33 late last year. Us Weekly confirmed at the time that they were “hooking up” amid their partnership. Their relationship had several ups and downs before Us confirmed in April that they had split for good. (Brooks alleged in the Love Thy Nader trailer earlier this month that Savchenko was “a cheater” and she had “proof.”)

During Tuesday’s Love Thy Nader episode, Brooks broke down the difference between her ex-husband, Billy Haire, and Savchenko. (Brooks and Haire were married for four years before their separation in May 2024.)

“I met my ex-husband when I was 19 years old,” she said. “I was with him until I was 27, and going from that to the hottest guy I’ve ever seen in my entire life. We have the craziest, wildest sex ever.”

Brooks’ sisters shared some skepticism about the model’s relationship with Savchenko during the show as well.

“I feel like you’re just so blinded by love, which is love bombing,” Mary Holland Nader said. “The victim of love bombing is blinded.”

Brooks seemed unbothered by her sister’s concerns, responding, “He dotes on me, he worships me, and it’s a bad thing? It sounds amazing.”

Mary Holland, 26, wondered whether Savchenko just wanted to “get in [Brooks’] circle.” Brooks made it clear that it was a little too late for that.

“He’s in my circle,” she said. “He was in me day one!”
