Former Bachelorette Emily Maynard Johnson's Family Album

From final rose to mom of five, it's clear family is a priority for Emily Maynard Johnson.

Bachelor Nation was introduced to the North Carolina native when she was a single mother to daughter Ricki. During her pregnancy, Maynard Johnson was engaged to Ricky Hendrick before he died in an airplane accident in October 2004 at 24 years old.

Viewers then watched Maynard Johnson – and her daughter — when she got engaged to Brad Womack on season 15 of The Bachelor.

“I wish that I would’ve kept [my time on The Bachelor and Bachelorette] totally separate [from Ricki],” she admitted in a 2017 podcast interview. “At the time, I thought, ‘This is it,’ and I never would’ve brought her into it had I not thought that. So I wish that I maybe would’ve taken a step back. Maybe sheltered her from that a little bit more.”

After her relationship with Womack was short-lived, Maynard Johnson was named the season 8 Bachelorette. She accepted a proposal from Jef Holm but they split less than one year later.

Maynard Johnson married Tyler Johnson in 2014, and the couple went on to welcome three sons in three years: Jennings Tyler in July 2015, Gibson Kyle in September 2016 and Gatlin Avery in November 2017. She later welcomed daughter Magnolia Belle in October 2020 and son Jones West in August 2022.

Ricki was born in June 2005.

The Bachelorette filmed in North Carolina instead of Los Angeles so Maynard Johnson could be close to Ricki.

“Celebrating summer birthdays in the classroom today!” the proud mom captioned a snap with Ricki.

She married Johnson in 2014.

The spouses welcomed their first son, Jennings.

“… Oh heavenly day... God is good! {Ricki and I are officially outnumbered!}” Maynard Johnson wrote via Instagram as she announced the birth of her second son.

Their third son, Gatlin, came into the world in November 2017.

“God is so good... my cup runneth over... {welcome New Baby Johnson to the world,” she wrote.

The family of six celebrated Easter.

Ricki posed with her parents and three brothers.

The group enjoyed their annual summer beach trip before Magnolia was born in October 2020.

“Another year, another Easter in quarantine,” Maynard Johnson wrote via Instagram. “{Even though we didn’t get dressed up and go to church, today is a sweet reminder of just how good our God is and how much He loves us. He has been so good to me and I’m so thankful for each of these sweet faces.❤️}”

Maynard and Johnson announced on November 2 that they had secretly welcomed their fifth child together, son Jones, in August. Following his birth, Jones spent one month in the NICU after being diagnosed with Down syndrome.

The mother of six spent Thanksgiving bonding with her family. "Thanksgiving mimosas for the girls!" an Instagram Story clip read in November 2022, showing Nola toasting with a glass of juice.

The couple posed with their complete brood on Thanksgiving.

Maynard Johnson and Johnson took their middle four children to New York City to catch a Yankees baseball game.

“Taking a big bite out of the big 🍎 🗽❤️,” they captioned a joint Instagram post.

Nearly two weeks later, Ricki announced that she is pregnant with her first baby.
