Congratulations are in order for influencer Paige Lorenze and tennis pro Tommy Paul, who just got engaged after nearly three years of dating.

The couple announced their engagement in a joint post shared via Instagram on Sunday, July 13. Photos showed Lorenze, 27, and Paul, 28, embracing each other after the athlete’s proposal on the island of Nantucket in Massachusetts.

In one snap, Lorenze — who wore a crocheted white dress with bell sleeves — wrapped her arms around her fiancé’s neck and held her face close to his, while another photo showed off the YouTuber’s gorgeous solitaire emerald-cut diamond ring. Finally, the third image showed Paul — who wore blue jeans and a white linen button-down — picking up Lorenze and holding her in a tight hug.

“Forever 🤍,” the caption read.

The comments section was filled with supportive messages from friends.

“Awe!!! Congratulations to the both of you,” model Camille Kostek wrote.

“Oh my God !!! Congratulations,” influencer Kate Cassidy added.

“Looks like I’m planning a wedding 👀,” said Rachel Aviva Liebenthal, the chief brand officer for Lorenze’s lifestyle brand, Dairy Boy.

After their beach engagement, Paul and Lorenze celebrated with a party at CRU Oyster Bar, according to photos shared via the entrepreneur’s Instagram Story. Lorenze traded in her crocheted dress for a short, satin cocktail look featuring spaghetti halter straps and a white rose at her chest. She shared a photo of the event’s custom menu, including champagne, seafood hors d’oeuvres, pistachio soft serve and lemon créme.

Paul confirmed his romance with Lorenze in October 2022 by sharing a collection of photos of himself plus a selfie with his now-fiancée with the caption, “Photos by P.”

Lorenze gushed about their romance in a profile for Interview Magazine in August 2024.

“He is the least needy boyfriend, first of all. He’s so supportive of me. He wants me to be doing what makes me happy. And as much as he wants me at every tournament, he totally understands. We just have such good communication,” she explained.

Lorenze, who is often there to support Paul at his tennis matches, continued, “We’ve built out a really healthy relationship where he’s not dependent on me. He’s not superstitious. And it’s not an unhealthy sporting relationship where, if I’m not doing something in the box a certain way, he’s going to spiral.”

She concluded, “He’s just very humble, and I look up to him a lot in that sense. With him, what you see is what you get, and that’s how he is as a partner as well. He’s the best.”

Less than two weeks before their engagement, Lorenze supported Paul at Wimbledon, where he was defeated by Sebastian Ofner in the second round.

Lorenze spoke about her status as a WAG — a wife or girlfriend of an athlete — in a July 2 interview with Who What Wear.

“The wives and girlfriends I know on the tennis tour are all incredibly hardworking and have many different things to offer, which is really cool,” she said. “Everyone has their own interests, so we all stand out from each other even though we’re all creating tennis content.”

Lorenze continued, “I love having those layers to my content because I’m a multifaceted woman — we all are. Honestly, being a WAG is the least interesting thing about me, and I think that’s the case for a lot of the other WAGs too. We’re all doing a lot of different things, and I think that’s why people have enjoyed following all of our journeys.”
