Jen Affleck Says Husband Zac Is 'Already Best Friends' With 'DWTS' Partner

Don’t worry, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives viewers, Jen Affleck’s husband, Zac Affleck, is not pressed about her Dancing With the Stars partner, Jan Ravnik.

“Him and Jan are already best friends, it’s great,” Jen, 26, told Us Weekly exclusively ahead of the DWTS cast reveal. “I’m sure they’re going to be making more content than I will, honestly, at this point.”

Jen confirmed that her husband is “absolutely” OK with her dancing alongside another man — even after the infamous Chippendales drama during The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 1.

“We’ve had conversations about it,” Jen continued. “Ballroom [dancing] is just, honestly, it’s like a sport. There’s a lot that goes into it, like technique.”

She added, “When you just think of it as a sport, a job. It’s nothing more than that.”

Zac, meanwhile, proved that he’s supporting his wife in her DWTS endeavor.

“For all of you crazy Karens wondering if I read the comments, I read them all,” Zac said in a Wednesday, September 3, video as he was tanning in a backyard. “For those wondering if I’m doing OK, I mean, I could be studying biochemistry for 12 hours a day.”

He continued, “For all you truly sick-minded people who are more worried about this dude’s response than supporting a woman who is six weeks postpartum, living her dream, I just ask, let’s unite.”

Zac told his TikTok followers to vote for Jen every Tuesday night and send her to the DWTS finale. Especially if they wanted “any hope at getting some more good trashy TV.”

It was announced on Wednesday, September 3, that Jen would be partnered with newcomer Jan, who was famously Taylor Swift’s backup dancer during her Eras Tour.

“I am so excited,” the Hulu star gushed to Us. “There’s a lot of energy. We’re both newbies, and I’m just so excited.”

Us, of course, had to ask Jen if she had any tea about the singer’s engagement to Travis Kelce.

“I’ve been working on it,” she joked. “I’m literally like, ‘So are we friends now? Am I friends with Taylor now? Can we call her?’”
