Kelly Osbourne is grateful for fans’ support in the wake of her dad Ozzy Osbourne’s death.

“I’ve sat down to write this a hundred times and still don’t know if the words will ever feel like enough … but from the bottom of my heart, thank you 💜,” Kelly, 40, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Monday, August 4.

She continued, “The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain.”

Kelly then shared a message about grief.

“Grief is a strange thing,” she noted. “It sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be OK for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”

“Thank you for being there. I love you all so much,” she concluded, signing her name with a broken heart emoji and a sparkle emoji. Kelly also added the hashtags “#BirminghamForever” and “#OzzyForever” and set the post to Ozzy’s song “See You on the Other Side.”

This wasn’t the first time that Kelly has used her father’s music to mourn his passing. Two days after the heavy metal legend’s death, Kelly took to her Instagram Stories to share emotional lyrics from Black Sabbath’s song “Changes.”

“I feel unhappy I am so sad,” she wrote on July 24. “I lost the best friend I ever had.”

Two weeks before Ozzy’s death, he performed with Black Sabbath for the last time in Birmingham. Kelly, who got engaged to Sid Wilson at the concert, took to Instagram the day after the show to express gratitude to those who attended.

“To say that yesterday was magic was an understatement!” she wrote. “I can’t even wright [sic] this without tears streaming down my face! Thank you to everyone who came to support my dad.
