Allison Kuch doesn’t seem to agree with Madi Prewett and her husband Grant Troutt’s views on corporal punishment.
On Tuesday, July 29, Page Six shared a clip from Prewett’s “Stay True” podcast in which The Bachelor alum, 29, and Troutt, 29, discussed their plans to physically discipline their daughter.
“When you have a child, you don’t just discipline them for being good and obeying you, right?” Troutt said in the video shared via TikTok. “If Hosanna obeys us, we’re not like, ‘Come here, girl. Come here. All right pull them down. Get the, you know, mama, get her.’”
Troutt went on to say it will be “hilarious” when they start spanking their 7-month-old daughter, Hosanna.
“Which we will [spank her] on the record because the Bible so clearly says, ‘Folly is bound up in a child, but discipline drives it far away,’” Troutt recalled, to which Prewett agreed before adding, “It also specifically talks about discipline with the rod.”
Prewett noted that “some people will say that you can discipline them with timeouts,” but she clarified that in the Bible it says “with the rod.”
“She gonna get a little bit,” Troutt said, before Prewett added that it will be in a “very loving way of saying, ‘Hi sweetheart, do you know why you’re being disciplined? Mommy does not want to discipline you. Mommy does not enjoy having to spank you. But there are consequences to disobedience.’”
In Page Six’s TikTok comments, some people took to the comments section to express their disbelief and Prewett and Troutt’s views — including Kuch, who shares 19-month-old daughter Scottie with husband Issac Rochell.
“‘Hilarious’?????” Kuch, 30, wrote on Wednesday, July 30.

Kuch and Rochell, 30, who tied the knot in 2021, welcomed Scottie in December 2023.
Nearly one year after their daughter’s birth, Kuch and Rochell reflected on their first year as parents — and what advice they would give to new moms and dads.
“When it comes to being a first-time parent, you’re so stressed about, ‘Is this the right bassinet?’ Or ‘Are these the [right] diapers?’ and overprepping,” she said on an episode of her “Sunday Sports Club” podcast in December 2024. “So many people are like, ‘You don’t need that,’ and I say f*** them. If you wanna do a whole nursery … I say [do it]. I think that [you should] take everybody’s opinion or advice with a grain of salt, especially if you’re a first-time parent because I think I got stressed [about] being perfect.”
