Love Island USA's Huda, Too Hot to Handle's Louis Russell Fuel Dating Rumors

Love Island USA‘s Huda Mustafa seemingly addressed speculation about her relationship with Too Hot to Handle‘s Louis Russell head on.

Huda and Louis, both 24, attended the Los Angeles premiere of Weapons on Thursday, July 31. Holding hands for the cameras, the pair matched in all-black ensembles at the event.

The duo first sparked dating rumors in July when Huda, who shares 4-year-old daughter Arleigh with ex Noah Sheline, was spotted in London with Louis. Reality TV fans recognized Louis after he appeared on season 5 of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle. He also appears on season 3 of Perfect Match, which dropped its first batch of episodes on Friday, August 1.

Earlier this summer, Peacock viewers had a front row seat to Huda’s search for love on season 7. Following a tumultuous connection with Jeremiah Brown, Huda moved on with Chris Seeley. The couple made it to the July finale but ultimately called it quits before the finale results — a franchise first.

“Everyone has their opinions. I know exactly how I want it to be treated in a relationship and I’m not going to settle,” Huda exclusively told Us Weekly in July about her split from Chris. “I will never sit here and just accept [whatever] as he says shut up to me. That’s another thing, Chris would want me to shut up. I don’t like that.”

Huda defended her decision not to remain with Chris at least until production wrapped, saying, “Why would I try to put on a show and be a happy girl and whatever when I’m not happy in my couple? … I really didn’t care about winning. I really wanted to leave with my person. And if this isn’t my person then I’m not leaving with you. I don’t care if it’s the finale, I’m not leaving and not being genuine about my connection.”

Outside of his stint on Netflix, Love Island USA fans may recognize Louis because of his friendship with season 6 star Miguel Harichi. Miguel’s girlfriend, Leah Kateb, has also been dragged into headlines surrounding Huda as Love Island USA fans speculated that the two women were feuding when Leah unfollowed Huda.

“Bruh omfg u would think I was on season 7 too! Like leave me alone! I have nothing to do it nor have I spoke on it. I’m not even watching! I don’t even follow love island,” she wrote via TikTok last month. “I know nothing I’m literally so confused.”

Leah insisted she has “no beef” with anyone from the season 7 cast, adding, “I’m incredibly proud of everyone who has gone on Love Island bc it takes a lot to put yourself up on a chopping board like this. I wish them all well truly.”

One social media user accused Leah of “participating in the online bullying of a woman who is already getting heavily criticized,” which she also denied.

“Genuinely what are you talking about. I haven’t spoken about Love Island once. Im not watching it. I don’t know why you guys want to involve me so badly. Please leave me alone,” Leah fired back. “I have no idea what you guys are ever talking about. I have only said I wish everyone an amazing experience and I hope they all protect their energy. Leave me ALONE.”

Leah further clarified that she wants nothing to do with the drama by “liking” a comment about her decision to no longer keep track of Huda.

“PSA to anyone reaching over a simple unfollow: Leah has said she’s not even watching this season. She’s not involved in the drama, and she’s allowed to protect her space without needing to explain it to the internet,” read the fan’s reply. “She’s handled everything with nothing but grace, and those of us who have supported her from the beginning still do. Not everything is shade. Not everything needs a storyline. Let her live.”
