Nick Hogan’s wife, Tana Lea, is mourning the death of father-in-law Hulk Hogan.
Lea shared a photo from her 2024 wedding to Nick, 34, via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 24. In the image, Hulk was all smiles as the then-newlyweds posed for their official portraits.
Us confirmed earlier on Thursday that Hulk died at the age of 71 after suffering cardiac arrest.
“WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away,” the organization told Us in a statement. “One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends and fans.”
Hulk is survived by his wife, Sky Daily, and his two children. The wrestling icon shared daughter Brooke and son Nick with ex-wife Linda Hogan.
While Hulk has been estranged from 37-year-old Brooke for several years, he’s admittedly been close to Nick.
“Had a great Father’s Day with the goat,” Nick wrote via Instagram in June, sharing a throwback photo of himself with Hulk. “Happy Father’s Day to all the awesome dads! 💪💪.”
The family drama, however, has taken its toll on Nick, with a source telling Us in April that the former reality TV star felt “caught in the middle.”
“He has pressure from a lot of different people to just kind of stay where he is. You know, just stay quiet,” the insider exclusively told Us. “He has a lot to lose from a few different ends. He can’t really support anybody in the situation. He’s just trying to stay out of it as much as possible to make sure he’s in good graces with as many people as he can be.”
Brooke, for her part, has stayed out of the limelight in recent years.
“As anybody’s life is, it takes crazy twists and turns,” Brooke told Us in June. “My 20s, I tell people, I blacked out from just the trauma and the filming, and I didn’t get to enjoy my 20s. I feel like I just immediately had to grow up and be on TV and work, and those filming hours are so long.”
She added, “It was just like, what was what? I literally have an Excel spreadsheet on, like, dates of my life that my friends helped fill in to try to remember what happened when.”
Brooke now lives in Nashville with her husband, hockey player Steven Oleksy, and their twin babies.
