No One Does WAG Game Day Style Quite Like Victoria Beckham

David Beckham and now-wife Victoria Beckham first met at one of his Manchester United soccer games in 1997, instantly sparking a connection.

“I am not into football at all,” Victoria quipped in her husband’s Beckham docuseries, which premiered on Netflix in October 2023. “I wasn’t into football then, I’m not into football now. But I’d seen pictures of him in magazines, and he was obviously a very good-looking boy. The fact I went to the games really was just to, kind of, some would say ‘stalk’ him.”

Victoria attended the game with former Spice Girls bandmate Melanie Chisholm, where they were invited out onto the field before the match. After the game, David made his move and the rest was history.

Amid her romance — and eventual marriage — with David, the fashion designer was frequently spotted in the stands to cheer him on.

“It was fun. I had big boobs, I had big hair. It was a moment in time” Victoria recalled in her 2025 eponymous docuseries. “We were the WAGs and they were HABs [Husbands and Boyfriends]. Us ladies were shopping, and we were owning it.  … I look at those pictures [of me] and I smile.”

Victoria paired a Team England tee-shirt with a white baseball cap, diamond earrings and gold sunglasses at the European Nations championship quarterfinals.

Ever the style star, Victoria wore a black “Get Your Couture On” minidress with an oversized belt to one of David’s games in Portugal. Victoria, who brought eldest son Brooklyn to the match, wore her hair in a high pony.

She opted for a floral bustier at the UEFA Euros.

Victoria embraced her former “Posh Spice” moniker with a black dress as she sat in the executive suites to watch David play with Real Madrid.

Victoria watched David, the England team captain at the time, in the World Cup while sitting with singer Cheryl Cole. (Cole was dating ex-husband Ashley Cole at the time, who was also on the team.)

During another World Cup game, Victoria sported a white tank and large hoop earrings.

Victoria stunned in a collared, red dress at one of David’s Los Angeles Galaxy games.

She looked positively posh in a black dress and coordinating cropped jacket, which complemented her white Birkin handbag.

Victoria watched David play in Milan in a white coat and a black Chanel purse.

Victoria opted for a navy blazer and white button-down at her husband’s Paris Saint-Germain FC match.

David joined Victoria in the stands for one of the Inter Miami CF games, the team of which he is an owner, in Los Angeles.

Black dresses have long been a game day staple for Victoria.

Since David decided to launch his own team in Miami, Victoria frequently tags along in the stands.

Victoria looked chic in her crisp white trousers and coordinating black tank.
