Rita Ora clearly isn’t afraid to show a little skin.
“Go on then, did I forget something?” Ora, 34, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 18, alongside a photo featuring the singer sans a shirt.
In the photo, Ora posed in the corner of a white curtain-covered room, wearing only a pair of low-slung jeans, black pumps and matching oversized sunglasses. As she stood in front of the camera, Ora strategically crossed her arms over her bare chest.
For glam, Ora wore a blush-colored lipstick and styled her blonde locks in a tousled bob.
Ora is no stranger to taking fashion risks both on and off the red carpet.
“My style is different every day, but always recognizable. I like glitz and I like bold signature pieces that liven up my look,” Ora told Vogue Australia in a November 2019 profile, naming Madonna and Kate Moss as her fashion inspirations. “They inspire me in so many ways, but there is one icon for me who surpasses them all [and that is] my mother.”
As inspired by her role models, Ora learned to mix and match pieces to create a variety of daring and exciting ensembles.
“I love playing with fashion and being able to express myself through my style. At the same time I always want to feel comfortable wearing it,” Ora said. “I often mix different styles, and use jewelry to give an outfit a little something extra and make it unique. For me, my outfit always has to express my current mood and my personality.”
Ora even brought her signature style to her wedding day, stunning in a one-shoulder lace gown by Tom Ford when she married Taika Waititi in August 2022.
“Tom Ford is one of my favorite designers of all time and favorite humans in general,” Ora told Vogue in 2023 of her bridal gown. “He’s now one of my close friends, and I adore and admire him so much. To get married in his dress was a dream come true.”
Ora and Waititi, 50, spontaneously tied the knot during a trip to Los Angeles, which made wedding dress shopping a unique experience.
“Because it wasn’t planned, I didn’t know if the right dress was even going to be in town,” she recalled to Vogue. “I just took the risk and went to the Tom Ford shop, and they had it perfectly waiting with the veil, in my size, no alterations needed to be done. I mean, it was like it was meant to be, to be honest, and it just made me so happy.”
Waititi was previously married to Chelsea Winstanley, with whom he shares two daughters.
“I just have the best time with them,” Ora said on a June episode of the “Begin Again With Davina McCall” podcast about becoming a stepmother. “I’m, like, the fairy godmother [who] gives them all the sugar and all the ice cream, and then sends them back, and their mother, who I love dearly, is like, ‘They’re bouncing off the walls.’”
While Ora does enjoy spoiling Waititi’s kids, she also makes sure that they are “comfortable and safe.”
“I wanted them to feel safe around me. I love my partner so much, so it was just about creating a great environment for these kids to thrive, and now one’s a teenager and she’s got her phone. We’re, like, texting. It’s so cool and she’s like, ‘Hey, miss you.’ I’m like, ‘Hey, girl, miss you too.’ It’s such a healthy [relationship]. I’m very lucky. I’ve got great stepkids, like, these girls are just the coolest kids ever.”
