The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley is gearing up to tell her story with the release of her upcoming memoir, Unburdened: Moving On, Letting Go & Putting It All on the Table.

“For years, people have seen glimpses of my life — but this book is the full story. The beauty, the heartbreak, the fear, the fight, and the strength it took to become the woman I am today,” Kemsley, 49, shared in a statement on Friday, August 1. “I am writing this book not just to look back, but to move forward — with determination, grace, and honesty.”

While there’s no official release date just yet, the book is scheduled to be released next year. (People was first to report the news on Friday.)

“Podium Entertainment is so honored to give Dorit a platform to tell her whole story — both behind the glam and before the cameras started rolling — in her own unique and memorable voice,” Stephanie Beard, Senior Acquisitions Director at Podium Entertainment, shared in a statement.

Kemsley is set to narrate the audiobook, the release confirmed.

Readers will get a look at Kemsley’s “glamorous and deeply personal story,” according to the book’s description. “A story of transformation, resilience, and the unshakable power of self-love.”

The book announcement comes months after Kemsley showed a different side of herself on RHOBH season 14 in the wake of her separation from husband PK Kemsley. The couple announced their decision to split in May 2024.

“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” they shared in a joint Instagram post at the time. “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.”

Dorit and PK, 57, were married for nine years before their decision to separate. They share son Jagger, 11, and daughter Phoenix, 9. The former couple officially filed for divorce this past April, nearly one year after initially announcing their split.
