Taylor Swift’s showgirl era is only just getting started, and we’re celebrating with a special collector’s issue!

Swift, 35, is fresh off the release of her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, which first hit shelves on October 3. Within its first week the release broke multiple records, including earning the most single-day streams in Spotify history. The album has over 20 versions and counting, all of which helped propel her to her 15th No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200.

After a bout of silence in early 2025, the singer announced The Life of a Showgirl just two months before it hit streaming. She later revealed she had been secretly working on it during her Eras Tour, a feat that proved to be difficult but worth it.

“Thank you for going out to celebrate this project in the movie theaters, investing in vinyl, streaming, watching the video, buying CDs, reading the poems I wrote inside the packaging, and immersing yourselves in The Life of a Showgirl. I’ll cherish this moment forever,” the star wrote in an Instagram post on October 13.

The 12-song release includes hits like “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite” and an eponymous track featuring Sabrina Carpenter. Much of the lyricism pulls from her lived experience, including the exploration of her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The two were first spotted together in September 2023 after Swift accepted an invitation to a Chiefs game. Tayvis was confirmed later that year, and the two continued to be in frequent attendance of each other’s respective football games and concerts.

Kelce popped the question to Swift, who made the announcement on Instagram this summer. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the singer captioned a post on August 26, just a few weeks after TLOASG was announced.
