‘Welcome to Plathville’ Cast’s Dating History: Inside the Family’s Love Lives

Fans have been fascinated with the stars of Welcome to Plathville since the show’s 2019 debut — and the family’s love lives have become an integral part of the series. The TLC series follows the lives of Kim Plath and estranged husband Barry Plath and eight of their nine children: Ethan, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia and Mercy. Kim married Barry in July 1997. The pair went on to welcome 10 children, but their son Joshua died in 2008 at 15 months. The couple were married 24 years before they separated in June 2022. Kim filed for divorce in June 2024.

Kim began dating Ken Palmer in 2023 amid her divorce from Barry. She revealed during the season 7 premiere in July 2025 that she and Ken had parted ways.

Barry was married to Kim for 24 years before they announced their split in June 2022. Kim filed for divorce two years later, but Barry revealed during season 7 of the TLC series in 2025 that he and Kim had yet to finalize their legal separation. Barry is currently single.

The eldest Plath child married Olivia in October 2018. Ethan and Olivia announced in October 2023 that they were getting divorced. Olivia legally filed for separation in February 2024, and fans saw the push-and-pull to get their divorce finalized throughout season 6 of the reality show.

Ethan moved on with Teegan Nichols, debuting their romance via Instagram in January 2025. Teegan made her Plathville debut during season 7.

Hosanna is the eldest daughter but the only sibling who has decided not to be part of the TLC reality show. She married Timothy Nobel in June 2019.

“I’ve only seen her a couple times since she got married,” Micah exclusively told Us Weekly of his sister in August 2021. “We’re not super close.”

Micah began dating Veronica sometime in 2023, confirming their romance via Instagram that September in a post from Labor Day weekend. Veronica made her reality TV debut during season 6, which aired in 2024.

Veronica announced their split via Instagram in July 2025, revealing they called it quits after “a violent wedding” earlier that year.

Moriah dated Max Kallschmidt for nearly two years before they split in 2021 amid cheating allegations. The reality star then had an on-off relationship with Matthew Craven, including a brief reunion during the season 6 finale. Moriah and Matthew called it quits in 2024.

Lydia debuted her relationship with Zac Wyse via social media in November 2024. The pair got engaged the following month, which was a point of controversy among her brothers. Despite hesitation from some family members, Lydia married Zac in February 2025.

Isaac introduced fans to girlfriend Kaylynn Brinkley during the season 7 premiere in July 2025. He revealed they’d known each other for years before their relationship turned romantic. “This is Kaylynn, she’s my girlfriend,” Isaac said in the trailer. “I got it pretty good. I think she’s a keeper.” 

That same month, Isaac and Kaylynn became Instagram official. “Truly thankful God put you in my life ‘you make it easy,’” he captioned a joint post of the couple in the woods.

The three youngest Plath sisters have grown up in front of viewers' eyes. They are all still single.
