Authorities are sharing an update days after fashion influencer Flor Marian Izaguirre Pineda was reported missing in Uruapan, Mexico.

The Michoacán Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the influencer, 23, was found on Saturday, September 6, local outlet El Financiero reported.

She was located in a Morelia hotel, where she had allegedly been staying for multiple days. The Prosecutor’s Office shared in a statement that her vehicle had also been found at the hotel.

“She was treated by paramedics and taken to a hospital,” the agency said in a statement, translated to English. The investigation is allegedly ongoing in order to “clarify the facts” surrounding the case.

News broke of the influencer’s disappearance on September 1. News that Izaguirre was missing, who has amassed more than 4 million TikTok followers, quickly spread through Michoacán’s Alba Alert system. The report shared that Izaguirre was last seen around 6 p.m. in a red Kia Rio on the day of her disappearance.

Days before, Izaguirre — known online as Marian Izaguirre — had shared a video of herself wearing clown makeup. In the August clip, Izaguirre covered her face in colored makeup and lip synced to a song titled “Why Are You Leaving?” At one point, it appeared like Izaguirre became emotional while filming the series of clips.

“All the promises of my love will go with you,” she captioned the TikTok post, which was translated to English. “Why are you leaving?”

The comments section of the upload was filled with users reacting to Izaguirre’s disappearance. “I hope they find you safe and unharmed bg,” one user wrote, while another added, “God will protect you and bring you back!”

Izaguirre’s disappearance comes days after TikTok star Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay and her family were reportedly found dead in Mexico on August 22. The Daily Mail reported in August that authorities uncovered Esmeralda, 32, and husband Roberto Carlos Gil Licea, 36, and kids Gael Santiago, 13, and Regina, 7, inside a car.

“The scene was processed, and investigators found multiple pieces of evidence suggesting the family was killed there,” prosecutor Alfonso Gutiérrez Santillán said in a statement to The Daily Mail in August. “While the forensic results are not yet in, ballistic and blood evidence almost certainly confirm they were murdered at that location.”

The outlet reported that Esmeralda, who had more than 41,000 followers on TikTok, and her family moved to the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, Mexico, for work months before their death.
